Power reductionIn order to prevent overtighte-ning of threaded connections this reduction serves to pretighten nuts and bolts carefully e.g. before using a torque wrench for final torquing. The F/R shift is large and easy to grab for professional use and is designed to deliver always full power in reverse.

Rivets: BLIND / BULB / BOLTThe most important dimension to select the correct rivet is "A". There are not only standard blind rivets but also high power rivets for high tension (BULB) and high shear resistanc (BOLT) that require specially suited riveters. Tough palm sanders in traditional alloy housing for use in the industry,

car body and paint workshops. Equipped with a comfor-tably rounded, large handle that insulates against cold. Especially well suited for users with medium up to large hands. High quality air motor with sufficient power even for coarse abrasives. Direct dust extraction through swivel suction port 29 mm diameter. The standard delivery com-prises a 6 hole velcro sanding pad diameter 150 mm (6“). Fast identification of the stroke : silver start lever means 5 mm, black lever on 2,5 mm stroke tool. The speed can be adjusted on all models.

Flat, smoothly rounded, handy to use and lightweight, insulated against cold whereever the fingers touch the tool. With 150 mm standard pad, still offering the full choice of pads: i.e. compatibility with all pads of the Expert’s pad series “EPA” – a full choice of high quality pads including 125 mm 8hole, 150 mm 6+1hole and 8+1hole velcro pads, ranging from “hard” to “super-soft” for perfect finishes. Naturally equipped with our proven RODCRAFT motor and bearing technology as well as with a swivelling 29 mm suction port for straight dust extraction. Additionally this small universal sander can be used with any external vacuum system, but is also able to produce its own dust extraction power by a turn of a knob – sanding autonomously just with com-pressed air. Two hand random orbital sander is especially desi-gned for coarse sanding with large stroke but low vibration. The dust extraction units comply with class “L“ requirements for filters (according to EN 60335-2-69:1999-08). For a safer and orderly work-shop – the air tools and electrical tools can be attached directly onto the

energy supply from the vacuum station – 1 mult-profile compressed air coupler and 1 elec-tricity socket on model 7900 / 2 sockets on model 7910. Automatic On/Off (can be swit-ched to manual) – active as soon as one tool is receiving energy directly from the vacuum station - Automatic stop for vacuum (10 sec delay) after switching off all connected tools. Both sanders have the same pad format but they are very dif-ferent: Model 7451 for large surface sanding and profiling with 5 mm orbital stroke. Air Line Installation and Maintenance

Important requirements for the use of air tools!

In order to maintain the power of a pneumatic motor, to avoid damage and to prolong the tool's life time the compressed air has to meet certain quality standards. Its recommended to install a maintenance unit at each compressed air outlet or work place. The following conditions for operation are of great importance and should be observed closely. For each type of work place the correctly suited maintenance unit will produce optimum conditions for the used air tools.

The standard pressure of the supplied air should be 6.3 bar (90 psi) at the air entrance of the air tool (also when air is flowing). Air inlet pressures that are too high will lead to accessive wear and failure of the tool after a while. Tools operating with too low air pressure are usually lacking in their full performance.

Air Pressure

Depending on the type of air tool the air consumption during full performance may vary.Please compare the max. air consumption values for tools indicated in our manuals and catalogues, the recommended hose sizes (inner diamter) with the max. flow rates of the maintenance units and the effective capacity of your compressor.

Air Quantity

The water separators and filters which are integrated in our maintenance units avoid corrosion in air motors and supply clean air. A high content of water in the compressed air will lead to rust and smaller passages in steel pipes and air lines which means air pressure losses and a lack of performance of the air tools. If no filters are used, rust and particles will damage or block the motor.

Condense / Dirt

Lubrication

Periodical lubrication of air motors is absolutely required (daily) to maintain full perfomance of the motor, to prolong the life time of the motor and to prevent corrosion. If a motor is not running with continuous air lubrication (lubricator), it should be lubricated manually every day (approx. 2 cm³ air oil (model 1000L) . Please see also the drawing for installation in the manual.

Operating Manuals

Please follow the instructions for maintenance and safe use in the operating manual (drawing for installation).

When a tool was not used according to the requirements for correct operation and air preparation we will not be able to grant any warranty in case of failure.

Maintenance units without lubricator but with coalescing filter for use with eg paint guns, blow guns and for oil-free operations.

Maintenance units with lubricator (slim or broad design) for all tools that require perma-nent lubrication.
