Ethics refer to a body of principles or standardsof human conduct that govern the behavior ofindividuals and groups.

Business ethics means a form of the art ofapplied ethics that studies ethical principles and

moral or ethical problems that can arise inbusiness environment. It deals with issuesconcerning the moral and ethical rights, dutiesand corporate governance between a companyand its shareholders, employees, customers,

media, government, suppliers and dealers. Thus,ethics plays important roles in the businessactivities

Ethics is important not only in business but inall aspects of life because it is the essentialpart and the foundation on which the societyis build. Moreover, organization's culture has

sets standards for determining the differencebetween good or bad, right or wrong, fair orunfair in business world.

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -A Scappoose woman has been sentenced to 18 months inprison for bank larceny. A U.S. District Court handeddown the sentence to 35-year-old Jade Carnahan onMonday. Carnahan was the operations manager at the

Rivergate Federal Credit Union on N. Ramsey Boulevard inPortland. In that capacity, she had access to customeraccount information. The court found Carnahan guilty ofembezzling more than $400,000 from the bank vault andcustomer accounts for her own personal use.

The 2008 Chinese milk scandalwas a food safety incidentin the People's Republic of China, involving milk andinfant formula, and other food materials and components,adulteratedwith melamine.By November 2008, China reported an estimated 300,000victims,[1]with six infants dying from kidney stonesandother kidney damage, and an estimated 54,000 babies

being hospitalised.[2][3]The chemical appeared to havebeen added to milk to cause it to appear to have a higherprotein content. In a separate incident four years before,watered-down milk had resulted in 13 infant deaths frommalnutrition.[4]
