n Construction is cost shared by USACE (federal) and CVFPB (non-federal)– Short-term O&M of mitigation features is included in
construction costs
n Long-term O&M is non-federal responsibility; CVFPB pays 100% of cost– In many cases, CVFPB delegates responsibility to
local maintaining agencies and reclamation districts; these agreements do not involve USACE
