One of the most important things to consider about adverts is the target
audience – the section of the public you are appealing
to.For instance, think about the target audience for a face cream and a sports
magazine.They are likely to be very different, and will
be attracted by ideas and concepts.
OUTLETS
The different audiences will also encounter different media so the advert needs to be
promoted through the appropriate outlets.
Think about the media you read and how the adverts are connected. For instance, women’s magazines tend to advertise beauty products and cosmetics, whilst men’s magazines sell cars and sports
equipment.
