IOn the recommendation of the Departmental Screening Committee (in its meeting held on

23/08/2016) and with the prior approval of the Regional Director of Education (South),

following teachers, Vice Principals, Librarians and Laboratory Assistants' who have

completed { will complete either 10 years' regular service from the date of 1st financial

upgradation or 20 years of service from the date of initial appointment, whichever is earlier,

are granted 2rLd financial upgradation in the Grade Pay as mentioned against each in Col. 9

with effect from the date mentioned against each in Col 8 under the provisions of Modified

Assured Career Progression Scheme notified by the Government of India, Department of

Personnel Training vide 0 M No. 35034/3/2008-Estt. (D) dated 19105/2009 and clarifications

issued thereafter.

The financial up gradation has been granted to the above mentioned officials on the basts

of particulars I information provided by their Head of School and if any discrepancy /

misrepresentation of facts affecting the entitlement of any official is detected at a later

stage, the up gradation shall be withdrawn retrospectively and the benefits already drawn

would be recovered from the official concerned. Before implementing this order, the Head

of School concerned will, therefore, ensure.

(il To obtain an undertaking from the official concerned that in the event of any

overpayment on account of any error, discrepancy or misrepresentation of facts

etc.. he/she will refund the same;

(iil To check the above mentioned particulars of the official concerned from his/her

Service Book and the Personal file and the discrepancy in the order, if any, is

immediately brought to the notice of the D.D.E. (SW-B);

(iii) That the otttcial concerned fully qualifies for the benefit of the MACP from the

date and in the Grade Pay as mentioned in the order in terms of DaPT O.M No.

35034f3/2008-EstqDj dated 19f05f2009 and clarifications issued thereon;

/

(iv) That the official concerned is / was also free from vigilance angle as on the due

date of MACP; and

(v) That in case of any official awarded MACP by this order, vigilance

case/departmental proceeding initiated against such official after the date of

his/her last vigilance clearance report and up to the due date of MACP, the same

should be brought to the notice of the ODE (SW-B) immediately so that the

benefit of MACP is withdrawn in his/her case.

• (vi) That, in case, the official granted financial up gradation under this order dies or

gets 1'\ promotion before the due date of such financial up gradation, no financial

benefit on the basis of this order shall accrue to him/her and the DOE (SW-B)

should be informed immediately of such event so that the order is withdrawn in

his/her case.

The officials who have been granted financial up gradation by this order may exercise

their option, if any, for fixation of pay under FR 22(1) (a) (1) within one man h of the date

of issue of this order.
