Procedure

Prepare to capture packets (ISTT/NSSOL)

1. Login to all DAMPs who has a connection to GGSN with SSH and start tshark command

Enable the connection (ISTT/NSSOL)

1. Login to SOAM GUI

2. Enable a connection between GGSN and DSR

Prepare to establish connection (VNP)

1. Prepares to start GGSN connection.

Disable the connection (ISTT/NSSOL)

1. Save a screen shot of connection status

2. Wait 2 minutes before next procedure.

3. Disable a connection between GGSN and DSR

4. Save a screen shot of connection status

Stop and Check the packet capture (ISTT/NSSOL)

1. Stop tshark on all DAMPs

2. Download pcap files from DAMPs

3. Check the pcap file of DAMPs and that DSR sends and receives Diameter CER/CEA.

4. Check the pcap file of DAMPs and that DSR sends and receives Diameter DWR/DWA.

5. Check the pcap file of DAMPs and that DSR sends and receives Diameter DPR/DPA.
