After the student had received the theoretical part of fuel metering systems, he/she must get familiar with the replacement and operation of both the systems on reciprocating engines and turbine engine

2. Hypothesis A. Removal installation carburetor.- The student must prepare for the maintenance to be carried out.- By using the maintenance manual the student has to determine what inspection (if
any) require the removal of the carburetor.- The student must by using the removal an installation manual remove the
carburetor from the aircraft, inspect, install, adjust and check. - Carry out the necessary paperwork.- All discrepancies found during engine removal must be logged on the discrepancy
list. If parts is needed the part number must be shownA. Operation of a fuel metering system on a turbine engine.- The student must use either the training manual or the maintenance manual to
study the installation, operation and maintenance of a fuel control system of an turbine engine equipped aircraft.
- When finished the student must present his/her work in front of the class, 15 minutes.
