Every day the food industry has bigger requirements and demands, specially, when referring to the cleanness and con-tamination when handling food. This is why Brugarolas invests many of its resources and technologies towards the investigation and development of clean greases for the food industry.

All machinery involved in the process of food production, that is to say, all type of machines which might be able to get in contact accidentally or spontaneously with food, are required to be lubricated with a specific food safe grease. Since the very early stages of production, input and initial handling of the raw materials, until the very last product assembling and packaging phase; the possibility of a grease related intoxication is always rigorously examined, and therefore, the

use of food grade greases is compulsory.

Thanks to the thorough research carried out by Brugarolas in the design of food safe greases, the specifications and performance obtained by Brugarolas food grade greases are outstanding. Precise innovation in the manufacturing pro-cess has allowed to obtain an accurate method that results in a range of top end safe quality greases for the food industry.

The high standards set by our quality department allow our food grade greases to obtain excellent specifications that are able to be used in all lubrication points of machines. By using food grade greases we are therefore able to prevent from any potential harmful threat that standard non-food safe greases might trigger.

The greases designed and manufactured by Brugarolas have been certified with the NSF H-1 that guarantees their condition of non-toxic (food grade greases) and are considered safe in case of a incidental contact with food.
