Shire of Northam: re 3yrs up, need to re-apply for Community Grant. eFire & Safety – Northam- Service Agreement received- continue maintenance on 2 new fire extinguishers. Out: New & existing Members,- follow up with membership, & Swapmeet thanks Gosford Classic Car Museum is to close, Auction 6th & 7th April, Fred advised CMC. Lions Club of Northam: Letter re results and letter of thanks and bank input. Shire of Northam-John Rutherford: Letter of thanks re items left for our use, and removing of metal stakes.

The Oxford and Sprite have had the 003 code removed from their licences, next is the Truck. Events : AVVVA – Northam Vintage Swapmeet: 17 Feb. 2019. 7a -12p. A successful morning due to many Members hard work on the day before and on the day. Only a slight % down, revealing that the Event has not lost Oomph..See Reports Wundowie P&C Show and Shine, Sun.10 Mar.- Attended by two AVVVA Members. Reported to be a good show however not as good as last year. The rest of the Calendar is filling up fast. Shannons Classic Car Show 2019, Mar. 24. At Ascot, Strictly 8-9.30a-3pm. Drip trays- paving. Accts & acquittal being finalised. As per newsletter reports – Thanks to all participants. A need for more noise promotion of Drinks Cart. Social Media advertising equally effective and cheaper. Originally from the UK now settled in WA for the past 10yrs, the Essex has joined other treasured artefacts on their rural property, ie a S.A. train carriage and an Amish Horse Cart. Colin Anderson … of York, with a 1983 Holden WB TTop, original/unrestored. Colin has been involved with old cars over the years. Has lived in York for 2yrs and was persuaded to further his interest in vintage cars when he acquired the WB TTop. Due to a pre-planned trip he is absent today, but intends to join in Club activities in the future. Moved: John King… Secnded: Ken Hammond… That Colin Anderson be accepted as a Member of AVVVA AIF WELCOME to our Club…… Dawn & Neil Burton and Colin Anderson GENERAL BUSINESS : Christmas Luncheon- Bronwyn reminded Members that although the function is at end of November

bookings need to be early in the year. 2017 was Greenhills, 2018 was Goomalling. Suggestions to date are – Avon Brook, Clackline, Bakers Hill, Toodyay, Malmalling, Parkerville, Beverley. Input - Members to consider, research and advise/suggest other possible venues as soon as possible.

Constitution:- It has already been confirmed that there will be a Special General Meeting held after the General meeting to be held at the Clubrooms on 27th April.2019 to consider and vote on the update. Copies of the Constitution will be emailed and posted prior to this with a voting slip for those unable to attend.

York Motor Show:- Gary and Graeme advised that this Show has attendance of several hundred cars in and

around the York CBD and this year will be following the theme of – Spoil Father on Fathers Day on September 1. Rally Day will be the day prior August 31. If there is any problem with the venue, then plan B or C will be actioned..

There being no further business, the President closed the meeting at 11.30am
