+Classwork/Homework Homework may be assigned daily to practice or reinforce
that day’s concept or preview an upcoming concept After the first quarter, during which students will get half
credit, LATE homework will be marked complete but receive a zero
Students may redo HW for more points if they do not show work, write in pencil, etc…
Classwork can be corrected for additional points – must be handed in within 2 periods of being returned

Pencil, only, for all math work Notebook/journal should go back and forth daily and

Quizzes and tests along with skill checks and graded classwork give me data about your child’s progress
This year is the first administration of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) test.
Maryland will administer PARCC for the following grades and courses: Grades 3-8, Algebra I, Algebra II
