Create a Newspaper

You will be creating a basic newspaper about three current events in your country.

Choose three current event topics from your country for the newspaper from these topics:

● Sports, business, technology, politics, health, entertainment, style, arts, or travel

When it’s due: Monday, July 10th, 2017 (email it to me by 8:30 a.m.)

What you need to do:

● Create a name, editor, and date for the newspaper● Think about three new stories happening currently in your country● “Retell” or summary the stories in your own words

○ Do NOT translate○ Do NOT cut and paste from online○ Use your own words to tell the story

● These three stories can be about:○ Sports, business, technology, politics, health, entertainment, style, arts, or travel

● These stories should be multi-paragraph and an appropriate length

● Include at least one photo and caption for each story● Include two advertisements from your country (for products that are not available in the

US)● Include a list of websites that you used to research the story

(It is obvious when words are taken from the Internet. Do not copy words from the Internet.

Use your own words and avoid plagiarism.)
