IT'S time to crack open the sun cream as the heatwave across the UK will see temperatures hitting a temperature from 25C at the end of the week.The heat will be double the average for the time of year thanks to a burst of "tropical" air moving in from the Atlantic Ocean between Bermuda and the Azores Islands. Dear diary,

Today was a very nice day in vancation. A group of kids came to me and ask if I’m Dutch. And now I have vancation friends. They are very nice. Tomorrow we go to the town to shop and later we go swimming. I hope that we keep in contact after this vancation. This morning I saw a really cute boy in the pool. Of course I didn’t go to them because I am too shy. I know that this page is not full but is go swimming with my new friends.See you later !x

Advice help page

Problem 1 :A bunch of kids in my class always make fun of me, but they don’t hit me. Am I being bullied ?

Advice :I think that you are bullied, but with words who hurts you also. If I were you, I would go to the kids who are doing it to you and ask them why they do it, maybe they will stop.

Problem 2 :Someone is stealing things frim me but I don’t know who it is. I think it must be someone who doesn’t like me, but I am worried what will happen if I tell my parents or teacher. What should I do ?

Advice :You could better tell your parents about it. They won’t be mad at you. If you don’t like to say it to your teacher , your parents could talk with him or her. They will find an solution for your problem.

Problem 3 :If you’re being bullied is it okay to fight back ?

Advice :No, it isn’t okay. Never fight back, That is never the solution. Go ( with your teacher) talk to them. Maybe they will stop.

Problem 4 :I’m worried about getting bullied on the way home. Can the teachers help me even if it’s not happening in school ?

Advice :I don’t think that the teachers could help you with that. Go talk to your parents. They always help you. Maybe there is another way from school to your home.

Problem 5:I get sent nasty emails and text messages from people at school. What can I do to stop them ?

Advice :Go talk with your teachers or tell your parents about it, they can also talk to the teachers. If that doesn’t work you need to do it by yourself, go talk to the people who send you those messages.

Problem 6 :My family and I are moving house next month and I’ll have to start a new school. I’m worried about having no friends and being bullied.

Advice :If I were you I don’t worry. Just let it happen. You will find new friends, just like you did on your last school.

My name is Kelsey Oosterkamp, I am 16 years old and I live in The Netherlands.I don’t do a specific sport, I go to the gym every Monday and Friday.For my community service I worked at Livio. I helped older people to have a nice day.They really like it when I come. We do a lot of nice games.

I don’t have a specific hobby. I have a lot of things that like to do in my free time.I really like dogs. I have two dogs at home, I go often walk and play with them.Their names are Rakker and Nikki. Rakker is 7 years old and Nikki is 8 years old. They are really cute. They always like to play. They never stop.

I really like to bake things. At home I do it almost every week. My parents like it very much, because they can taste all the things I make. When I bake a cake or cupcakes I decorate it with a lot of delicious stuff.

I have a mother, a father and a little sister. My sister and I fight a lot, but we also can have a good time with each other. My mother and I go often shop. We really like to shop with each other.

I don’t have any work. I am looking for it but I don’t have find the right job for me. I also have a buzzy time at school. I am in my final year of my school. I do vmbo - T.After that I am going to do the MBO.

In my vacation I don’t do a lot of things. Most of the time I watch television or play a game with my sister. This year I go to Spain with our car. I really like to snorkel in the sea.

Chocolate

Chocolate is a product made of sugar and cacao. Chocolate comes from Mexico and the north of south Amerika. They thought that chocolate gave them special powers. A few years later, the Europeans discovered chocolate.A Spanish men came back from his trip to Mexico and he carried pounds of chocolate with him. That wasn’t the only thing he carried with him to Spain, he also brought value stuff with him. The Spain people made from chocolate, chocolate milk. They kept the recipe secret, so that the Spain people where the only one who knows how to make it. It was so popular in Europe that other Europeans going to look for cacao beans. They find out how to make the chocolate milk and they tell it to all the other people. The cacao beans were so important that you could also pay with it. A bunny cost 10 cacao beans and a slave cost 100 beans. Now are cacao beans very rare and they will be more expensive because the stock is running out.

You can find chocolate in different types and taste. There is white, milk and dark chocolate. White chocolate isn’t a real chocolate. There is no cacao in white chocolate, it is specially cacao butter. But is really looks like real chocolate you can call it chocolate. The difference between milk and dark chocolate is that milk powder added to milk chocolate and not by dark chocolate.But there are also figures for example a letter or smarties, bunny’s, eggs or parties.

In the factory they first clean the bean. After that they will be burnt in a revolving drum where it is 140 degrees. Now the skin of the bean need to take off. After that the beans are going in to the break machines and later in the cacao mill. Because of the heat the beans are being liquid. The fat that comes out is called cocoa butter. Hard chunks of cocoa are over and that is going to be cocoa powder. With some sugar and cacao butter it will be chocolate.

The summers in large parts can be extremely warm and often humid.

The official summer sport in Canada is lacrosse, it’s a sort of handball but with sticks. The second summer sport is Canadian football. The official winter sport is ice hockey. Ice hockey is the most important sport in Canada. It’s really tough and hard played. Other popular team sports include curling, street hockey, cricket, rugby and softball. Popular individual sports are auto racing, boxing, cycling, golf, hiking, horse racing, ice skating, rodeo, skateboarding, skiing, snowboarding, swimming, tennis, water sports, and wrestling.

The beaver is the national symbol of Canada, and is usually found near the Lakes. One of the largest animals that live in Canada is the moose.Common animals in Canada are the musk oxen, polar bears, wolves, foxes, caribou, snow Hare and lemming. Lizzie Velasquez is called the most ugliest woman of the world. She was 17 when she stumbled across a YouTube video entitles ‘the world’s most ugliest woman. What she didn’t expect was that the woman features in the video would be her. It was an eight- second clip and had watched over four million times. She didn’t realise it was her until it started playing. "I was shocked," Velasquez recalls, "but it wasn't until I started to read the comments that my stomach really sank. "Why would her parents keep her?!" read one of the comments, "kill it with fire" said another. And they continued on and on. Some commentators said she should kill herself, and one said people would go blind if they saw her on the street. Velasquez couldn't help but read every comment, and she says there were thousands. "I cried for many nights - as a teenager I thought my life was over," she says. "I couldn't bring myself to talk to anybody about it, I didn't tell any of my friends, I was just so shocked that it had happened." Velasquez was already used to being bullied daily for the way she looks. Born with two rare conditions - Marfan and lipodystrophy - she is unable to gain weight, no matter how much she eats. When she started kindergarten she remembers how classmates recoiled from her, afraid.

Now she is 26 and weighs about 60lbs (27kg). She is totally blind in her right eye and visually impaired in the other, and was in and out of hospital growing up with a number of health problems - eye surgery, ear surgery, complete foot reconstruction, bone density tests, and a number of blood tests as doctors tried to decipher what her condition was. It wasn't until last year that they managed to put a name to it. Velasquez decided she could try to make a change. She started her own YouTube channel to let people know who the person behind the "World's Ugliest Woman" video really was, and to teach others they, too, could be confident in their own skin. And now Velasquez's life and anti-bullying work is the focus of a new documentary. Sara Hirsch Bordo, the director of the film, says that it is not just about Velasquez's story but is a universal story, for everybody who has been bullied.

My Opinion

Chocolate

I think that the Spanish people are exaggerating, why would they kept the recipe secret… They could better tell it, so that they can earn a lot from it.

I really like chocolate. All the different flavours. Some people think that you can get pimples of chocolate, but I think they exaggerate. This article gives a lot of information.

Canada

Canada is a big country. I think this article tells enough about it, because you know almost everything about it, thanks to this.

I find that Canada has a lot of different sports. In the summer is it total different than in the winter. I think that this gives enough information.

It is really sad how she found out about the film. People would never make such a movie like this. It is heart breaking.
