"Symbiphonic", 10th album by musician and composer Roger Subirana.

Symbiphonic, is a word invented by the same Roger that comes from the union between symbiosis and symphony. It is about defining the musical result that arises from the union between the organic (real sounds of nature, classical musical instruments such as pianos, flutes, guitars, strings, etc.) and the artificial one (synthesizers, electronics, samplers, etc.) . In second reading it also defines the symbiosis that occurs between the music and the composer itself. An important element of this work is the use of 3D audio technology using the Ambient Orbit software. In this way, if we listen this music with headphones, in some songs we will experience sound with 3D sensation (also called binaural or 8D).

The album includes a total of 15 compositions of original music, with a common link: The cinematographic style. As is already characteristic of the music of Roger Subirana, we continue to find the phonetic letters invented without any meaning than looking for pure musicality. Esther López puts the main voice on the phonetic songs. We also find the voice and guitar of "Dani López". But like any rule that has an exception, here we find the song "Despertar" in its vocal version. In this work, as usual, we can find a variety of styles. Aquatika: A musical ocean where we can discover new sounds. Roger wanted composing from a diver's point of view. Mónica Sagrera (monicasagrera.com), is a presenter, actress, dancer, theater director, dives and is an underwater videographer. So she put at his disposal a whole palette of sounds extracted from her own dives to integrate them into this composition.

Eric 's theme: The soundtrack of the short film directed by José Luis López "The T-Shirt", was a finalist at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (section "foreign language"). In the section of feature films we find composers known as Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean) or Alexander Desplat (Twilight or Harry Potter).

Journey to the stars: In 2016 Roger composed the soundtrack for "Mi maleta". A short film directed by Cristina L. Justribó and starring Emilio Gutiérrez Caba. A captivating film, endearing and at the same time very deep. Journey to the stars is a re-composition of one of the fragments of this soundtrack. Special Mention of the Jury in the International Short Film Festival 2017 (Sevilla) and the International Short Film Festival of Delhi 2016.

Point of no return - Edición 10 aniversario: Special version to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creation of one of the most emblematic compositions. The process of creation has consisted, basically, of literally "destroying" the original cpmposition as if it were stuck in a CD player and then working on the resulting environment. A completely new approach has been given, mixing an infinity of styles and sounds surpassing the 200 instrument tracks. A modification of the same theme was composed for "Harmonie". The Mapping of the Cathedral of Berlin realized by Silvia Isach (sinocastudio.com) that was selected in the Berlin Festival of Lights of 2017.

The vitruviana March: Official demo created for the sound library "Rinascimento" of the music software company Fluffy Audio led by Paolo Ingraito. The song is composed only with instruments from this library. All the instruments are from the Renaissance period. Archilaúd, flutes of different types, Bombarda, Gallichon (kind of lute), tiorba, wheel viola (music), organ, harpsichord up to a total of more than 30 instruments. Paolo contacted the Italian group "La Rossignol", along with other musicians specialized in ancient instruments to make all the recordings that would make up the library.

El Somni del Drac (Mapping Fiesta Mayor Vilafranca 2018): Soundtrack for a very special mapping dedicated to the Festa Major of Vilafranca. A journey through musical versions of traditional dances in a cinematic style. Roger Subirana is a composer and musical producer born in 1978 in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona). Self-taught, he began composing his own creations shortly before 12 years of age. With an own discography of 10 CDs, where we find his most personal music since it has been composed as a diary where he expresses all the feelings experienced throughout his life.______________________________________________________________

For this reason it is so difficult to pigeonhole in a specific musical style. His songs are small soundtracks, where in some songs the voice is used as a pure instrument, hence the lyrics are phonetic and have no meaning. Just look for the musicality. He defines himself as "Composer of Instrumental and Phonics Music". In addition to his personal production, he has composed a variety of musical styles, compositions for Cinema, TV, theater, dance performances and a multitude of audiovisual projects.

Among his film productions, highlights the soundtrack for the official film of the history of F.C.Barcelona "Barça Dreams" (2015) directed by Jordi Llompart and distributed by Filmax International. Within the world of short films, music stands out for the short film "Clones", competitor in the official section of the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival (2015) and winner of the best international short film in Los Angeles IFS Film Fest (2016). Directed by Rafael Bolliger with the actor Rutger Hauer ("Blade Runner" by Ridley Scott in 1982). His compositional task also covers the field of advertising. He has licensed and performed music for major international brands such as Shiseido, Swatch, Renault, Inverse or Ducati. On Jamendo, the largest online Creative Commons music platform in the world, its music has surpassed 8 million listeners and more than 1.5 million downloads.
