Prophets Confirmed Before hand, "Fire, Wind, and Rain" in California

Dear Elijah List Readers,

I am a member of ACPE (Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders) with Peter Wager, Chuck Pierce and Cindy

Jacobs.

Last January --(We meet once per year and of course, have the potential for meeting more often)--- we

agreed that as members of ACPE when we observed certain prophecies given that came true in a tangible

way, we would attempt  to inform people through the Elijah List and various other channels  about the

fulfillment of those words (or vice versa).

My special thanks to my daughter Tawny for helping me research and accumulate this information.

I had approved this word mentioned (below) to go out on The Elijah List  while I was in France, the last week

of October and the first few days of November, 2003.  Here is the word  we posted on The Elijah List

October 31, 2003 plus the fulfillment of the word. Read on . . .

Fire, Wind, Rain, and Flood, Prophesied in California

Chuck Pierce and Cindy Jacobs gave a prophecy for California September 19, 2003 regarding fire, wind, rain, and floods as signs of how the heavens are beginning to open and the atmosphere is beginning to change in California (posted on the Elijah List October 31st, 2003  http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=1742).

It was prophesied that this Fall, the government would change; that not only shaking would occur in the state of California, but there would be a fire in the places of judgment, particularly against pornography, indicating that the fire of the Holy Spirit is coming with visitation; beginning November, the winds would change, and rains would pour, flooding and slides would occur, as a sign of the Lord shifting into place in California - that California's destiny no longer be aborted.

Re-read the article below where I have underlined the prophecy that is in process of being fulfilled. Note that the government has since changed, and beginning October 21st,  fires began to rage throughout California (remember the word was given Sept 19, 2003), consuming over 746,000 acres. Yesterday, Thursday,

November 13th,  Los Angeles, California received 5 inches of rain and hail in two hours and much flooding has occurred, as well as some concern over the possibility of landslides where vegetation has been burned away by the wildfires. (Breaking news on CNN at http://www.cnn.com/2003/WEATHER/11/13/socal.storm.ap/index.html).

It is important to point out when a prophecy begins to be fulfilled.  Let praise arise for the wonderful destiny that the Lord will set in place for California!  And let us not reject His purposes in this time of decision!  For "how you grab and how you catch the wind is how not only this state [of California] will begin to turn toward Me, but this nation will begin to turn"!

Dear Steadfast Standing Warriors:

I hope each of you is travailing to prevail. Pastor Dutch Sheets and I are finishing the "Heartland States" on our 50 State Tour. This week we have had meetings in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. We will lack 20 States after this. I want to thank all of you who are participating in the 30 Day Ramadan Prayer Focus. This Focus leads us through November 24. I would also like to ask you to pray for California daily as you pray during the month of November. At the beginning of the year the Lord had me focus on the state of California. In January I ministered in San Diego, Los Angeles, Camarillo, and Fresno. In March I was in Pasadena and Bakersfield. Then in early April I traveled to San Jose and Sacramento. While in Sacramento, the Spirit of God had me lead the group gathered there to declare that the government of California would change by this Fall. We saw this was a must for California to change. And now the fires!

These past two weeks I have found myself crying out for "MERCY!" on a daily basis. In September, we were

at a conference in West Covina, California and Cindy Jacobs and I began to prophesy. Notice the Lord gives

the "Fire ISSUE" and then very specifically says the winds will change beginning in November. Please read

this word carefully and pray. Intercede for those who have experienced trauma these past few weeks. Pray

for the change of wind. Cry RESTORE! Ask God to start a new season.

A WORD FOR CALIFORNIA - The Wind Will Come

Prophetic Word from Chuck Pierce

I would say to you, "The wind will come from the west. The wind will come from the west. You're beginning a

new season. It's a season that will shake things throughout this nation. New wine is found in the cluster and

I am about to cluster together those that are co-laboring throughout this state and I am going to form a new

wineskin. What was and what even began but never got completed, I would release the wineskin in this

state that would bring to completion that which was thwarted by the enemy. There will be a mega-fold

anointing that will come. I would say to this state - you are hanging in the balance. You are hanging in the

balance but I will send a wind to the west. This wind will begin to blow from November (2003) though

January (2004). And how you grab and how you catch the wind is how not only this state will begin to turn

toward Me, but this nation will begin to turn.

There will be an adverse wind. The wind will bring great rain and there will be floods. Don't resist the floods

or reject the floods for they are signs of what I am doing in your midst. They are signs of how the heavens

are beginning to open and the atmosphere is beginning to change. For the enemy has held this cosmic

atmosphere in his hand to control a nation and even to control the Pacific realm. But I am changing this

atmosphere, the west wind is coming, rain is coming. There will be slides and shiftings because it is going to

be a sign of shifting things into place in this region.

IF YOU REJECT WHAT I AM DOING AT THIS TIME, I say the drought will get worse. As the drought gets

worse locusts will come and darkness will overtake the area. So I say, watch for the winds that will begin in

November (2003). Let them blow through January (2004) and let Me blow you into a whole new place where

it is known that My glory is moving in the midst of this state. And then what never has been completed and

brought to fullness will rise up. Be filled by My Spirit, My Pneuma - and it will be known that My glory has

come to California."

CALIFORNIA: Shake Off the Apathy! A Time of Decision

Prophetic Word from Cindy Jacobs

The Lord says to California, "Not only will there be shaking, there will be a fire   [Remember this word was given on Sept. 19 ] . But when you see this fire in a place and you know it's judgment, particularly against the pornographic industry - you are going to know I am getting ready to bring a fire of the Holy Spirit. For I am coming with My visitation. I am coming. Stir yourself up today and begin to understand that I am starting to move you in a new realm. You choose, you choose what you will believe. You choose what you will stand for. You will see surely. I will use you to help change and shift to transformation."

Shake off that apathy. Just shake it off. Shake it off. Wake up! Wake up! Father, in the name of Jesus, I bind and break off that spirit of religion and that apathetic spirit, that slothful spirit - I bind it in Jesus' name. I say to you, like Deborah said to Barak, Arise! Arise and take your land. No one else is going to shake it off for you. You've got to make a decision. You have got to decide - if no one else is going to see transformation, I will see it. If no one breaks through - if I have to fast, if I have to pray, if I have to get on my face and close myself off with God. I'm telling you what, this nation will not be changed unless we break that apathetic spirit. It will not change, it will not shift. California will not shift - that spirit of entertainment that we are in the middle of - that spirit of entertainment. But I tell you God says, "I Am the great I AM - you just shake it off you. Shake it off! You've got to make a decision tonight!"

And the Lord Says, "California arise! For you are coming to a place that you have never been before. Satan has tried to abort your destiny many times. But this time I am mingling the anointings from the generations together. I am beginning to marry those anointings. Look and see what I am going to do. For eye has not seen neither ear heard neither has entered in the heart of a man the things I have in store for you. Though the enemy has come in like a flood, know this, you are in your day of breakthrough. You are in your day of turning. You are in your day of going to a place that you have longed for, for many days. Grab hold of the governmental anointing that I am loosing. For I am going to put the government upon My shoulders. Look and see, for I am going to deal with the state legislature of California. I am going to deal with their wickedness. Look and see because I am going to go from one legislator to another, to another. Do not think I do not see that they are going against the will of the people. This day watch the state legislature shift. And don't think I don't see what the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has done. For I am getting ready to judge the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The court of Heaven has declared and decreed: 'Enough is enough!'"

(Given at the International Congress on Power Ministries in West Covina, CA; sponsored by Global Harvest Ministries, September 19, 2003.)

Now pray for the change of wind and for the rains to come!

Blessings, by Chuck Piercewww.glory-of-zion.org

Freakish storm hits Southern California

http://www.cnn.com/2003/WEATHER/11/13/socal.storm.ap/index.html November 13, 2003

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) --A freak storm pummeled parts of Southern California with up to 5 inches of rain and hail, forcing motorists to abandon swamped cars at the height of rush hour and leaving thousands of residents without power.

Lightning lit up the region as fast-flowing water turned some streets to rivers Wednesday night. Water swept trash and other debris to the doorsteps of homes and stores. In areas where the hail was deep, adults snapped photos and children frolicked Thursday in a landscape that looked more like Minneapolis than Los Angeles.

"It was just unbelievable," said National Weather Service meteorologist Curt Kaplan. He said 5 inches of rain was recorded in just two hours in southern Los Angeles, nearing the previous record for the area of 5.9 inches -- "but that was in an entire day." Skies mostly cleared overnight.

The sudden downpour surprised commuters, and firefighters reported rescuing more than 100 motorists and pedestrians from waist-deep waters. Tow truck drivers packed their lots with abandoned vehicles and parked others in school lots.

The storm stalled for an hour over parts of southern and eastern Los Angeles County. Among the areas hardest hit were urban communities in the southern Los Angeles district of Watts and in neighboring South Gate, Lynwood and Compton.

Martice Thacker was forced to abandon her car when the hail began.

"I panicked, and I opened the door, and the ice came all the way up in the car," she told KCAL-TV.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to blazes caused by lightning strikes and rescued people trapped in elevators that lost power, said fire Capt. Mark Savage.

"It's been freaky," he said.

A small mudslide covered part of Highway 18 near Rimforest in the San Bernardino Mountains, but the road remained open and no more serious slides were reported.

Nearly 115,000 electrical customers were left without power for varying lengths of time, said Paul Klein, a spokesman for Southern California Edison.

Some made the best of the rare weather. Teens in Compton, about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles, pelted each other with ice in a hail-ball fight.

Other people ventured out of their houses Thursday morning with cameras to record what they called a once-in-a-lifetime event.

"It was great. I loved it. Hail was just roiling down the street like water," said 56-year-old Olivia Williams. "Our power has been out since yesterday afternoon. All we have are candles and oil lamps."

Mudslides had been feared in mountain and hillside areas cleared of vegetation by wildfires that raged through the region some two weeks ago. But by the time the storm reached those areas, it had weakened considerably and dropped just over an inch of rain, said meteorologist Bruce Rockwell.

Date :  Wed, 12 Nov 2003 10:09:07 -0600 Dear Laura,

So good to hear from you last night.  We said it all last night so I can't think of anything else to say.

Charles Ting came by last night, he wanted to use my garbage containers to put some of his trash in.  He had a new roof put on his house and he needed to get rid of all of the old shingles.  He took my garbage containers to his house and filled them up and then he brought them back and put them on my curb.  He is a hard worker.  I would have done it differently.  I would have just filled them up at his house and done it in several different times.  But I guess he is in a hurry,  he is planning to sell  the house and the sooner the better.

I don't have any new pictures to send to you, maybe next time.

                                    My love to you,

                                              David

David Grandpa:

Maybe he is thinking of you might need use the garbage containers. If he did as your way then how do you go about without the garbage containers? Just curious.

Your email said that “He took my garbage containers to his house and filled them up and then he brought them back and put them on my curb.... I would have done it differently.  I would have just filled them up at his house and done it in several different times."

In that case, I will be back in my home country--Taiwan, during the class time, since I got the air ticket already. Hopefully I can have chance to receive your teaching  other time.

Hey Diana: So Michael went to seminary for full time or what?

Dear Laura,  Thanks for your email and the birthday wishes.  I was quite ill with my first local flu around the time of my birthday and couldn't celebrate much, but now by G's grace I'm up and running again. Glad to hear you'll get a chance to visit your guojia again.  May it be a time of great refreshing - after some good and hard studies, right?  How are your studies going?  How far are you and how's the research?

I know now about 150-200 Chinese words.  Man man lai.  It is rewarding and hard work.  Much worthwhile, yes! Many blessings your way, Mari

Dear Mari:

Do you learn to read Chinese simplified characters or ping-ying only?

I am looking forward one day to hearing your story in mandarin or read a letter which is written in Chinese. I got my air ticket from mail box yesterday, if He willing, this 5 weeks trip, I will meet the right person at the right timing and right place.

Regarding school works, I will be half way through the course taking after this semester.

Basically, Dr. J. Lingenfelter will be my chair of dissertation committee after taking with her last Wed. on Nov. 5. But still need to pray about the choices of other 2 members, hopefully can be settled down next semester.

Next semester one of the 3 courses I will take is Research Design, which will help me to work on the proposal. Once the proposal done, then I think I will start writing the first 4 chapters of the dissertation next summer. I still remember vividly the prophetic image you gave me last Christmas when we prayed. You said that you saw the picture of using mass communication as the part of stick and home schooling as the part of the sickle to harvest. Thanks it is a very confirming word to me.

The final papers of 2 of the three courses this semester I take will focus on home schooling in terms of policy issues and leadership & followership. It seems like this sickle part of home school is under the process of being sharpening now. ^-*.

Keep you posted, take good care, Blessings--Laura

Hey Mari -- Birthday Day girl,:

Happy Birthday to you!

What a special B-day gift for 2 years visa in China. Happy for you.

Speaking of birthday, I think I will have my next birthday in Taiwan since I will be there during Dec. 26- Jan. 31. After 7 years of absence, I would probably not be able to

recognize most of the kids of my cousins’ or friends’. Hopefully, it is not too late to reconnect before I was vanishing from their memory. Please pray a fruitful trip, since I will spend more time on meeting non-believers during this trip and my f-1 visa need to be renewed too.

Now is the 2nd half of this semester, which means all the three courses works need to be done before school end on Dec. 20. In the mean time, I will try to get all the preparation works ready for this 5 week trip. Take care. Share more later as I go on the trip.

Dear Friends!

Thank you for your partnership and remembering me across the mountains and oceans. Thank you also for your emails expressing your concern for my physical health. God has faithfully taken care of me and given me wisdom how to adjust to the new environment. Surely the learning is still in process, but I feel much better and stronger.

Since my previous email update which was a bit ago, my Chinese studies finally started in the beginning of September. Our class is six students strong and we have 10 hours of class per week. This includes speaking, reading, writing, listening and general Chinese. This far we have learnt about 150 words. Getting older means that once I learn new words I need to repeat the old words so I don forget them J It is very rewarding to learn another language and by doing so gain an expanding window to people life. Whereas three months ago I couldn say much anything, now I can go about the daily life without too much outside help. I have also got some local friends who have accepted me since the very beginning. When I visit their place they make me feel welcome and try to understand all my umblings? Surely I can communicate what I want yet, and sometimes being confined to the words I know is frustrating. ?How many times can you say that the grapes are beautiful? But I trust that through patience and faith there will be a time when I will be able to communicate what is on my heart. Please remember me towards that end.

When I visited here in April of this year, I reflected on the thought that this place is like a desert. Because of the difficulties and hardness of life flowers are few, and only the Spirit of God can make the wilderness bloom. Now I have entered the

19

Page 20: 031101 · Web viewI had approved this word mentioned (below) to go out on The Elijah List while I was in France, the last week of October and the first few days of November, 2003

wilderness myself. The terrain is unfamiliar and there is very little to lean on. Sometimes I have a tendency to make people, my own strengths and abilities and the familiar trustworthy things into my alking sticks.?SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  I can lean and depend on these things. Here because of the language and cultural barriers my alking sticks?have been cut off. Even though this sometimes feels devastating, I know it is for a good purpose. In the wilderness I learning to lean more fully on Him. His voice has comforted me many times when there was nobody else to speak words of comfort to me. He has encouraged me to go on when I was falling into despair thinking that things can change. He has also been teaching me about how to prayerfully wait on Him while He is working. Sometimes in my desire to get things done, I attempt to do God work and don leave Him any room to move. As I have stepped back and waited on the Lord I have seen Him move. He has brought about unexpected meetings with people, put friendships in place and solved problematic situations.  The story of Elijah and the coming of the rain in 1 Kings 18:41-46 has inspired me to have more persistance in prayer and courage to expect God's breakthroughs in this land.  Please pray that this season of wilderness will bring about its full fruit in my life.  Pray also that I would not lean on the alking sticks?but on the Lord and wait on Him and His breakthroughs.

Recently I celebrated my first birthday in the new land. As a special birthday gift I and the rest of the students of our team received a 2-year student visa. This means I can possibly celebrate another birthday here! The long-expected visa is really a praise item.  Another special thing was to be able to celebrate my birthday together with Vacation with a Purpose team from the U.S. They reminded me of all of you and your love, care and support for me and the team in various ways. Thank you for all of that!

With many greetings, Mari Salli

maybe we can have a reunion there.

so I can arrive Goshing  at 11:45pm  Dec 27 ( Sat.); or Dec 30 ( Tues.)

RE: "Positioning Yourself to Hear What God is Saying" (Fw)

Vincent:

Your Q: Yet the English version seems to imply that "we may all learn how to prophesy".

             What do you think?

YES, that is exactly what I mean to Fw for:

" we may all learn how to prophesy"

from my own church experience and training

Blessings, --Laura >From: "VINCENT LEE" >To: "Laura Sun" >Subject: RE: "Positioning Yourself to Hear What God is Saying" (Fw) >Date: Tue, 4 Nov 2003 12:48:02 -0800 > >Dear Laura, > >Thanks for your sharing. You are the second person during the past few days >who has told me or shared me the similar concepts covered in this article. >However, the passage "you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn" >(1 Cor. 14:31). is a little confusing to me. >If you check the Mandarine version, the translation implies that the persons >who are prophesied can learn and benefit from the prophesy.

That just >wouldn't happen. Perhaps some of you had a real dysfunctional home where >that kind of thing would happen. But really, whenever I go home to my wife >or go over to visit my father, they always have something to say. So why is >it that some Christians believe God only talks once in a while when it's >really important? Can you imagine having a Dad like that in the natural - >one who only ever said anything to you when He needed to bring correction, >direction or discipline? I mean - the Father wants to talk to you all the >time, not just once a year at a prophetic conference. God wants to speak to >you in just about every situation, every moment of your life - you've just >got to learn to position yourself to hear what God's saying. >one by one that you all may learn." I can call anybody up, and if they're >willing to step into the unknown, lay down their dignity and be available, >they'll hear from God. Likewise, if you, my reader, will take the time to >hear God, fulfill His requirements to live a prophetic lifestyle and stir up >the prophetic, you will grow very quickly in this gift. Scripture is clear >that we can all prophesy one by one. And you know why? There is a place for >activating and stirring up the prophetic. When we practice ministering in >the prophetic, this is the level that we start at: "... you can all prophesy >one by one, that all may learn" (I Cor. 14:31). > > You're not going to become a prophet after this activation. However, >you're going to learn to prophesy so that you may learn and that you might >be encouraged in the fact that you hear God and you don't just hear God once >a year. I'll tell you, if I was to stand up and talk about how many times >God talks to me on a daily basis, you would lock me out of the church. >Because you would be like, "What do you mean ?od said, God said, God >said.'" I run into people all the time who ask, "God said?" To them, God is >quiet and only talks when He is angry. "He only talks when He wants to >reveal your sin," they say. "God only talks to you when you need a heavy >revy," they say, "God doesn't just want to speak to you in intimacy. Forget >about it - don't even expect to hear from God." > > > SOME PROPHETIC GUIDELINES > > Well, I believe that God is far more personal than that. I expect that, >every day when I wake up out of my bed, I'm going to hear a word from the >Lord. You know, those words won't always be about direction and the future. >As we minister over one another this afternoon, forget about stuff that >involves direction and future. Let's just keep the guidelines of the >prophetic ministry to comfort, edification, exhortation and confirmation (1 >Cor. 14:3). Stay away from dates and telling people about the one that >they're going to marry. Stay in the place of prophesying one by one that you >may learn. > > When you speak God's mind and heart, you are prophesying. Really, it's so >easy to hear God's voice. Scripture tells you, in 1 Corinthians 2, that the >Spirit that lives inside of you searches out the deep things of God. This >passage shows you why you can expect to hear God for others and why you can >expect to hear God any time you position yourself in prophetic ministry >mode. Here we read about why God wants to speak and why He wants to speak to >you, not just the prophet and not just the church leadership. God wants you >to be a prophetic person. Let's look at a passage from 1 Corinthians: > > However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of >this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are coming to nothing. But we

But as >it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the >heart of man the things which God has prepared for those that love Him." God >has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all >things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man >except the spirit of the man which is in Him? Even so no one knows the >things of God except the Spirit of God." (1 Cor. 2:11) > > The Holy Spirit knows right now everything that is in the heart of the >Father about every person reading this. He knows right now every deep >thought that God has for each and every person in this room. He knows what >you need to hear. The Spirit of God is searching out the deep things of God; >He's searching out the heart; He's searching out the secrets of the Father. >And He has these special thoughts for every individual that the Father has >created. Verse 12 of this same chapter says, "Now we have received, not the >Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the >things that have been freely given to us by God." > > > GOD'S INNUMERABLE THOUGHTS TOWARD US > > The Holy Spirit dwells inside of you, full of revelation. And the Holy >Spirit dwells inside of you so that you are able to tap into the deep things >of the Father for, not only your own lives, but for you, for me, for us as >individuals. And you know why you can prophesy - because you're going to be >relying on that well of the Holy Ghost that's inside of you to reveal to you >something about somebody you're going to have an opportunity to minister to. >You know David says, "How innumerable are the thoughts of God towards us." >Yes, He has an innumerable amount of thoughts toward you. So if I want to >prophesy over someone, all I have to do is say, "Holy Spirit, give me >revelation right now; allow me to tune into just one thought". > > I'll tell you, you've ministered in the prophetic even when you speak to >somebody one thought; when God gives you one mental picture and you don't >even have an interpretation and you just speak that picture, you've >prophesied. It's good!  Actually, I didn't stick to it when Kari drove a couple of days last week.  But that's only on the commute to and from work.  I drive to other events and things, so it's not like it was easy to stick to it.  I decided not to have a written list, because it forces me to really focus on God's voice.  Hard at times, but good motivation to be quiet.  I like to think that sometimes He prevents accidents because I am listening to Him instead.  I haven't heard any praise reports from the people I've prayed for, but I don't really remember every detail of every prayer anyway.  At the beginning I thought that was a bad thing, but I realize that I used to be "results-focused" instead of just listening, then praying out of obedience.  We can get so wrapped up in lists that we don't listen!!!  Same goes for preaching/teaching.  Focusing on the outline too much, the three points that all start with the same letter, the approach, the presentation, etc. can prevent one from listening to what God wants to say or do.

Love you, pook

Tim:  Thanks for sharing Vi's ministry.  My feedback as below: Vi had asked me to continue to attend her service and suggested for me to get her teachings on CD’s? Any suggestion? If you enjoy her teaching why not continue to go? what do you mean by "her teaching on CD's?" Did she want you to help her make her teachings on CD's or what?Or she wants you recorded her teachings for the purpose of later study?   You were doing fine, you can always to ask her after she prayed for you, but I did not think and y formula in terms of she pray for you and when you can ask, just go by what you feel led by the Spirit. See you weekend. Blessings--Laura

Tim: I do not know that Vi has her teachings on CD already, but you can ask Pastor Shoa or call Vi at home -- 909-592-6744. if you want. Blessings--Laura

Hi Laura,No, she did not ask me to be involved with her CD. But, she suggested for me to get some of her teaching on the CD, she felt it would help me. Do you know anything about her CD’s?

Hi Laura,Thanks for the search. I went to Vi’s service today. I enjoyed her teaching of the spiritual power and authority. And, I received her prayer. She immediately told me that I came with many questions, and I was worried about work/business. She prophesized that I do not need to worry, God will not let me fail. She also mention I had a big meeting where decision need to be made, she said that God will replace my disabilities with His abilities, so not to worry either. I was not sure about the exact meeting of what she was talking about; but I could relate to my preaching coming up this weekend.  Since this is my first time, I was not sure about if I could ask questions or not, so I just prayed and listened as she prophesized. Afterwards, I told her briefly about my business past and my current worries about work and told her about my worries about preaching as well. But, could I ask her

specific questions, such as God’s idea about me working part-time and serving part-time, about God’s vision, etc.?  Anyway, I enjoyed it. Angie did not get to go today but she will next week. Vi had asked me to continue to attend her service and suggested for me to get her teachings on CD’s? Any suggestion? Thank you for encouraging me to visit her. She is very humble and with great faith in God. I enjoyed the visit. Timothy
