Part One: Review of Faithful and TrueI. Revelation 19:11 To understand this last book of the Bible we need to see the

first book of the Bible.II. In Hebrew the concepts of faithfulness and truth are inseparable.III. If you are going to be faithful you need to know what is true.

Part Two: Review The Faithful Truth - EMET 1 I. In the Hebrew/Christian word for “Truth” God is the center

and not man (meaning you). II. EMET is the Hebrew word for truth and faithful.III. To live a Faithful and True life in 2014 and beyond…

A. We must accept that God alone determines what is true.B. Christ must be the center of our lives.C. We must be committed to reading His Word the Bible and apply it in our lives.

Part Three: Emet Vs. ShekerI. Sheker- שקר, Hebrew word for “falsehood.”II. Shin - Kuf – Reish שקר

A. Three consecutive letters that have us seeing only what is around us. What can seem true in our close culture and daily life is only a narrow view.

B. In contrast, EMET sees beginning middle and end. So, only God can authorize what is true.
