Make Your Own Plant Labels

Label the butterfly and moth friendly plants in your garden with these handy plant markers.

What you need:Butterfly or Moth TemplateCardSticky back plasticScissors

Colouring pensSellotapeLollipop stick

Instructions1. Print the templates on to card or cut out your template and stick it on to card (cereal

boxes are great for this!)2. Colour in your chosen shape3. Cut it out (ask an adult to help you)4. Write the name of your plant or seed on the back of the shape along with the date

you planted it5. Cover your shape with sticky back plastic to make it weatherproof. If you don’t fancy

colouring in, you could cover your shape with coloured sticky back plastic instead.6. Using sellotape attach your butterfly or moth onto a lollipop stick7. Place in the ground next to your plant or seed
