KEYNOTE SPEAKER KATARINA ROXON KATARINA ROXON 46 TH AGM, CONFERENCE & TRADESHOW KATARINA ROXON has put Newfoundland and Labrador on the map in the world of Paralympic swimming. She has competed in over 25 naonal and internaonal compeons including Rio Paralympic Games 2016, Para-Pan-American Games 2015, and London Paralympic Games 2012. At the age of 15, Katarina was the youngest Canadian swimmer on the Beijing 2008 Paralympic team. Since 2005, Katarina has connuously broken Naonal records along with world records in the 200m Buerfly and 1500m Freestyle. Katarina has not only made her hometown of Kippens, NL proud but the enre province. Katarina truly embodies what it means to be a community hero by demonstrang to children and youth that with hard work and dedicaon you can achieve great success. As recreaon leaders we come into contact with many local heros that have served to movate and inspire those around them.
