A hero can be defined as a person who, in the opinion of others, has special achivements, abilities, or personal qualities and is regarded as a role model. As recreation leaders we come into contact with many local heros that have served to motivate and inspire those around them. These local heros make an indelible mark on their communities and inspire an overall sense of community pride.
Join Katarina Roxon and learn about her personal story that led to her recent accomplishments as a Para-swimmer and the community heroes that inspired and supported her journey.
