The CFA (Catechesis for All) has begun it’s 27 week course, learning about the Catholic faith. The classes are every Thursday @ 6pm in Doyle’s Place. It is an ongoing process of helping one discern to become Catholic or to help you prepare for RCIA or to catch up on your Sacraments if you are baptized Catholic. Now is the time!!!
Please spread the word if you know someone who’s interested. Call the front office to sign up. Children’s Church will be taking the Summer off. The last weekend of Children’s Church will be Sunday, May 27th and it will return in the Fall.
We will host a blood drive for LifeShare Blood Center on June 10th after the 8:30am Mass until 1pm. Please make sure to eat a good meal, be well hydrated and bring your
identification with you. Help us surpass our goal of 10 units. If you have any questions please contact Life Share at 656-9118 or visit their website at www.lifeshare.org. Lifeteen’s bake sale is on Sunday, May 20th after ALL the Masses.

“Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and
he in God.” 1 John 4:15
How strong in your faith? When you have an opportunity to either defend
or clarify a question about our Catholic faith, do you do it? Or, do you remain silent so that others don’t
think you are weird? Pray for the courage to be strong in all
circumstances and to share your witness with others.
Andrew Bradley has been appointed as the new Principal for St. Louis Catholic High School and will begin his duties on May 16, 2018. Mr. Bradley most recently served as Principal of Saint Francis Catholic Academy in Gainesville, FL and Archbishop John Carrol High School in Radnor, PA. He has over 11 years of Catholic education experience. Mr. Bradley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with Minors in Spanish and Theology, from Georgetown University. Additionally, he holds a Master of Arts in Secondary
Education from The University of New Mexico, as well as a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University. Andrew, his wife Nina, and their five children will be moving into the area the first week of May. They are planning to purchase a home in Moss Bluff. Jennifer Bellon has been the Principal of Holy Family Catholic School for the past 10 years. Under her leadership she has guided our school to continued growth and stability. We are happy to announce that she has accepted the position as Principal for the 2018-2019 school year. We look forward to another year of dedicated service. Our Men's ACTS Retreat will be held next weekend, May 17-20. Please keep our team and retreatants in your prayers. Our ACTS Retreat return Mass will be held on Sunday, May 20th at the 10:30 am Mass. Many of the family and friends of these men will be attending that Mass so we ask that you welcome our guests. Extra chairs will be placed in church for the expected overflow crowd.
