Polycom PVX - Desktop video conference software

• Enables you to have video conference with other pvx users or with any boardroom video conference system.

• Enables you to share your desktop during one on one session

• Enable you to participate in multisite video conference (must be coordinated with IT teams).

How to work with Polycom PVX

• To open your software double click the Icon on your desktop

Control Far end camera (works only when having a conference with a standard video conference system)

• A call conference should be considered like a regular face to face meeting.

• Each participant can effect the quality of the conference.

Guidelines

Recommendations:• Select a noise free environment to join the conference from.• Select a suitable phone to use while in a conference.• Join on time.• Do not create noises (e.g. turning pages) next to your pvx. • After joining the conference mute your line by pressing MUTE on your

keypad. You can unmute your line by pressing again MUTE on your keypad.

• Unmute your line only when you wish to speak.• Speak firmly and clearly.• Use the action codes to manage your conference effectively
