Thank YOU!!! We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the St. James Craft Fair on Saturday and the PTL Carnival on Sunday. Thank you to Amanda Goodspeed and Stephanie Moffatt who headed up their respective events and to all of the volunteers who gave up of their time and efforts to make these events possible. Thank you also to Randy Strakis and the 4th grade and 8th grade students for putting down and putting up the tarp that covers our gym floor to protect it. St. James Lutheran School & Operation Christmas Child: Last year, St. James partnered with Operation Christmas Child to provide shoeboxes full of toys, gifts, and supplies for boys and girls around the world who were in areas of war and poverty. In our 1st year, we provided over 100 shoeboxes that were sent over to Africa. We had such a wonderful response from the students and families that we are going to do it again this year with a goal of 120 boxes! We are extending the collection time until November 14! We will pack and prepare to ship during the week of November 14. Items should be brought to your student’s classroom. Here are some ideas of what to pack (please remember not to bring in any toys or items that have anything to do with war or military)…
Scarves, mittens, stocking hats, etc.
Small sunglasses, hair accessories, kids necklace, watch, etc.
