劉懋善 Liu Maoshan

男，1942年生，江蘇省，蘇州人。現為中國美術家協會會員，國家一級美術師，蘇州國畫院副院長、蘇州大

學藝術學院教授。劉畢業於蘇州工藝美術專科學校。早年學習西洋畫，對歐洲古典藝術和現代印象派繪畫有

深厚而廣泛的研究；後來轉而研習中國畫，從事山水畫創作。

劉懋善的山水畫酣厚綿邈，寫江南風光，清新樸茂，恬靜抒情，別具一格，並吸收了西洋畫的光、色處理方

法，增強了國畫的時代感，許多作品的筆墨和佈局，深具傳統，用筆雄渾深秀。善於 通過對比、渲染和節奏

的變化，精細刻劃自然界的聲色動靜。

近年來，畫家訪問了日本、英國、美國、俄羅斯、法國、德國、義大利、梵諦岡、摩納哥公國、蒙特卡洛、

西班牙、荷蘭、比利時、盧森堡、奧地利、聖馬利諾、香 港等國家和地區。舉辦過數十次的個人畫展，並進

行學術交流。他的作品在國內外展出和刊登，獲得好評，並為多間美術館、博物館收藏。作者名字分別被列

入美國名人傳記中心與英國劍橋國際名人中心所編撰的國際名人錄。

Male, born in 1942, is a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He is now vice-president of the Suzhou Chinese Painting

Academy and a member of Chinese Artists Association. He is rated a national first class artist. Liu was graduated from the

Suzhou Institute of Arts and Crafts in 1962. He studied western painting at his earlier age.

With profound and extensive research in the works of classical European masters and western impressionism, he extended

his art development to Chinese landscape paintings. Liu’s works are characterized by a distinctive, colorful and poetic

style.

In recent years, he has visited HK, Japan, UK and US, where he held solo exhibitions as well as participated in many

cultural and academic exchanges. His works are highly acclaimed and collected by many museums and galleries in China

and overseas. His name is listed in the “American Who’s Who” and the “International Who’s Who” published by the Center

of International celebrities in Cambridge, UK.
