+Social Change ModelSocial Change Model emphasizes a nonhierarchical approach to leadership. The Model was built upon the following assumptions:
Leadership is collaborative (based on collective action, shared power & a passionate commitment to social justice).
Leadership is a process, not a position. Leadership is inclusive and accessible to all people. Leadership is values-based (build trust, be clear &
consistent in their actions). Leadership is about change (accomplish positive
change for others & community).
The Model is unique in that it was created specifically for college undergraduates.
