In the summer of 70 AD the Romans laid siege to Jerusalemand looted the Temple of some of the most sacred artifacts from thetime of the Old Testament. Loaded onto ships and brought back totime of the Old Testament. Loaded onto ships and brought back to

Imperial Rome in Triumph, the treasure was said to include the GreatMenorah, a candelabra made from 132 pounds of solid gold which shed

light over the Arc of the Covenant and the Ten Commandments; theTrumpets of Revelation made of pure silver which, according to the Book

of Revelations, will herald the second coming of Jesus Christ; and, perhaps most sacred of all, the bejeweled Table of the Divine Presence

which is believed to be the heaviest solid gold object in all of antiquity. The treasure vanished without a clue and the fate of God’s Gold hasremained one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of the ancient world.

Until now?

Join us IN SEARCH FOR GOD’S GOLD as we unravel this 2000 yearold mystery to restore this priceless treasure to the world.

Throughout the ages, kings, clerics, scholars, archaeologists, and entirearmies have searched, some in pursuit of wealth, others for their

religion, yet others in pursuit of knowledge and then there were thosesuch as Adolph Hitler’s SS chief, Heinrich Himmler, who sought power

and dominion.

In the process they have moved buildings, earth, stone and diverted rivers but found nothing.

Most recently, the search has attracted media attention as high-profilearchaeologists claim to have found new clues leading them to search in

Rome, the Vatican, North Africa and Jerusalem. And still theirexhaustive and costly research and excavations have again and again

turned up nothing. It is into this drama that our search begins, and what we’re about to

discover could well lead to the most important archaeological find inhistory, the recovery of the Temple Treasure and the plunder of

Imperial Rome.

Researcher and writer Ron Pappin, a classical scholar, archaeologist, and historian began investigating ancient archeological records for clues

towards ultimately solving the mystery of God’s Gold. It was Ron whoinstigated the re-examination of the Talpiot Tomb of Jesus Christ and

the actual location of the biblical Mt. Sinai (Gebel el Tariq) as featuredin the documentaries The Lost Tomb of Jesus and The Exodus Decoded.

In concentrating on clues from an earliest source that other scholarsseem to have ignored, Ron explains, “The ancient text that we are usingcontains a map that is buried within, excerpts copied from an older, losttext dating back to within 50 years of the actual event. When crossreferenced with the historic record, the data is allowing us to pinpoint atime and a location that will lead our team of experts using the latesttime and a location that will lead our team of experts using the latestscientific technology to solve the mystery of God’s Gold.

VATICAN CONSPIRACY, NAZIS &THE FINAL APOCALYPSE:

As we search for God’s Gold other aspectsof the mystery will be presented including:

•The Israeli government has accused the Vatican of keeping thetreasure hidden in a secret vault. It’s a charge the Pope ardentlydenies.

•Within the faiths, it is prophesized that repatriating the treasurewill unleash the final apocalypse and, among the radical, there isa quest to bring it on.

•The Nazi’s search for God’s Gold…the real ‘Raiders of the LostArk’.

For the Jewish people the siege of Jerusalem and the looting ofthe temple by the Romans in 70 A.D. marked the beginning ofthe Diaspora, which would last almost two thousand years. Mostbelieve that at least some of the Temple’s Treasury, there was over50 tons of gold, was used to finance the construction of the50 tons of gold, was used to finance the construction of theRoman Colosseum. However, to avoid offending the Gods, thereligious objects taken from the Temple were safeguarded in afortified storehouse at the center of Rome known as the Temple ofPeace. It was here that the sacred objects of every civilizationconquered by Rome were kept.Without a doubt, this was the most important treasure trove inhistory and yet, somehow, all of it has vanished. Its fate remainsthe greatest unsolved mystery of the ancient world.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOLD?

Nobody knows what happened to the gold that was housed inRome’s Temple of Peace. What we do know is that after almost800 years of growth, Rome was sacked three times: in 410 CE byAlaric, King of the Visigoths; in 546 CE by Totila, King of theOstrogoth, and in 455 CE by Gaiseric, King of the Vandals. Theancient sources agree that Alaric and Gaiseric made off with hugesums of Rome’s gold but it is not clear which one took the sacredtreasures from the Temple of Peace, which remains a hotlydebated issue among scholars.

The debate centers on three sources written around the same timein the mid 500s,but they seem to say different things.

Procopius (c.500–c.565) a prominent Roman scholar who isProcopius (c.500–c.565) a prominent Roman scholar who iscommonly held to be the last major historian of the ancient world.According to Procopius, Gaiseric took the temple treasure whichwas then returned to Jerusalem. This claim has led scholars, archaeologists and treasure-hunters to try to piece together thetrail to God’s Gold. However, after 1500 years it’s a trail that hasinvariably led to frustration and failure, often destroying the livesof those who have become obsessed with following it to the end.Cassiodorus (c.485-c.585) a scholar, a prominent statesman withthe Ostrogoth administration, and writer of the most detailedhistory of the Goths, Gothic History (526-533). It is believed thathis work described exactly what happened during the sack ofRome by Alaric and Gaiseric but unfortunately all the volumesare lost.Jordanes (c.551): The only clue we have regarding the contents ofCassiodorus’s Gothic History comes from an unscholarly bookreview written in 551 by a bureaucrat secretary named Jordanes. The work has not been taken very seriously by most academicsuntil modern analysis of the text has discovered a clue - a textinside the text. These passages are believed to have been copieddirectly from Cassiodorus, and one of them refers explicitly toAlaric –not just that he made off with the Treasure of Rome but that hewas buried with it. The text then states exactly where he was buried.

MODERN FORENSIC TECHNIQUES ANDTECHNOLOGY THE KEY:

Others have looked exactly where Jordanes tells us but have foundOthers have looked exactly where Jordanes tells us but have foundnothing. The trail of failure is as long as those who have followedProcopius and it has only confirmed the suspicion that Jordanes’review is not to be trusted. However, since 1985 when the last searchof the location was conducted, modern technology has come a longway.

In the last ten years there have been significant Hi-tech advances inarchaeology. Beyond the traditional Electromagnetic metal detector,we now have Pulse Induction metal detectors, Ground PenetratingRadar (GPR), and the Overhauser proton precession magnetometer(PPM) which can detect metals and man-made forms deeper into theground and more accurately than ever before. None of this technologyhas been used to find Alaric’s tomb. We intend to be the first.

With the use of modern forensic techniques and new ‘state-of-art’technology we intend to reconstruct the day that King Alaric wasburied to find out exactly where to dig.

Over the centuries many have searched for Alaric’s Tomb and thehidden cache of treasure that was to include God’s Gold. Our narrativewould not be complete without touching on some of these.

•Theodoric, king of the Ostrogoths (493-526 CE) ordered theexhumation of all gothic graves to recover the gold buried with them.exhumation of all gothic graves to recover the gold buried with them. However, Alaric’s grave was never found.

•A short story written in 1885 by Tommaso de Felici (Il romito delBasento - the Hermit of Basento) purportedly based on a 14th centurymanuscript of a young aristocrat finding the treasure. (no supportingevidence)

•In 1747 local citizens of Cosenza under Ettore Speculator(administrator of Calabria) conducted a costly excavation for four daysat the juncture of the Busento & Crati rivers and found nothing.•A manuscript by Cornacchioli written in 1764 (Biblioteca Civica diCosenza - library) claimed that a local peasant family found the treasure.(no supporting evidence)

•In 1835, after a violent earthquake Alexander Dumas (the author) wasvisiting Cosenza and reported that the locals were digging up theriverbed which they did every time the river dried up but found nothing.

•In 1897, the novelist Nicola Misasi noted that the municipality ofCosenza conducted excavations near the confluence of the tworivers without result.rivers without result.

•In 1937, Amelie Crevolin, a French pendulum dowser claimedthe grave was a mile further up stream on the Busento at a villagecalled Vadue. This provoked Himmler, head of the Nazi SS totravel to Cosenza (Italy was fascist at the time) but it was a falselead. Himmler gave the Nazi salute standing in his car on a bridgeover the Busento to the amazement of the locals.

•In 1968, Vincenzo Astorino claimed the grave was under thesmall church of St. Pancratius with negative results.

•In 1984, the international press reported Alaric’s grave had beenfound along a stream called the Caronte (tributary of the Busento)near Vadue but this was also a false alarm (the grave dates to the8th or 9th centuries)….That was the last attempt.

2006: God’s Gold by Dr. Sean KingsleyFor centuries, Jews have believed that the ancient treasure of the Second Temple, taken to Rome in the first century CE, stayed in Rome, and that some of it was likelystill to be found in Vatican treasuries. However, according to new research, thisassumption may be misplaced. After a decade of research into previously untappedancient texts and archaeological sources, Dr. Kingsley has reconstructed theancient texts and archaeological sources, Dr. Kingsley has reconstructed thetreasure’s route for the first time in 2,000 years to provide evidence that it left Romein the 5th century. He has discovered that it was taken to Carthage, Constantinopleand Algeria before being hidden in the Judean wilderness, beneath the Monastery ofTheodosius.

2007: The Copper Scroll and the Search for the Temple Treasure by HershelShanksThe Copper Scroll And the Search for the Temple Treasure tells the intriguing storyof two copper scrolls now known as "the Copper Scroll" discovered in the Judeandesert more than 50 years ago. Most scholars agree this unique scroll describes thetreasures of the Jerusalem Temple that were buried shortly before 70 C.E., when theRoman legions burned the city and its holy sanctuary. Hershel Shanks, as heexplains the Copper Scroll's enigmatic contents, takes you on a quest for thelegendary treasure, and describes the high-tech methods used to decipher andpreserve this important ancient document. Why was the Copper Scroll the onlyDead Sea Scroll written on durable metal? Is its list of vast treasure just a fantasy oris it real? Can the locations mentioned in it still be identified today?

2008: Archaeological digDeep inside of the hills of Jerusalem rests the Kibbutz of Ramat Rachel. Over thepast 50 years many archaeologists have realized that hidden beneath this kibbutzare archaeological treasures including the ruins of the palace of one of the kings ofJudah, along with relics from the Persian, Hellenistic and Roman era. At this site, where space and time are mixed within the earth, another hidden treasure longburied underground has recently resurfaced. 15 silver coins dating from the SecondTemple period were discovered inside of an ancient pot hidden in a columbarium.
