MyTA

The project MyTA is a application based on SaaS model. MyTA is design to serve all teachers to manage their daily work such as attributing lecture notes, assignments, students’ grades, messages, fast Q and A, etc. To support these requirements, this application as a service offers some functions for the teachers which can be both clearly to see and simple to operate. The website stores all the information for the certain teacher so that one teacher can upload documents or post grades to his/her students.

Problem Statement

The professors of Western Oregon University address their daily work by using the current system of the university which can only supply a space for the professors to store their documents based on a website, but not all the professors know how to create a website except some technology relevant departments. Moreover, the functions of the exist system are not good enough for both professor and students. For most students, the only way to get information from the professor is by Email or in class. Students and professors are looking for a new way to make this process simpler and more efficiency.
