Rich Bluetooth platform liberates electoral car need The pre-qualified 'Car Sound Saunter™ ' reference design provides the automobile

industry with an exceptionally versatile hardware and software platform for the range of Bluetooth wireless applications - from hands free calling to advanced infotainment. Very easy to integrate, with an exceptionally low-cost BOM, exhaustively tested to prove interoperability. Among the applications supported are:

Simulated and digitally synthesized combust accelerant engine Hands-free calls with tunable echo and noise cancellation Streaming digital music into infotainment multimedia system Wide Profile compatibility (HFP, PBAP, A2DP, AVRCP, DUN, ...) Before release, the design has been tested for interoperability against a very large number

of popular phones on (or coming on) the market. It can even downloads phonebooks for handsets' that do not support PBAP.

Elinistech's Car Sound Saunter™ reference design is based around a DSP with Bluetooth solution with an embedded DSP and CODECs, which is offered in packaging suitable for ultra-compact plug-on modules, or easy integration into embedded auto electronics systems. Car Sound Saunter™ development support The Car Sound Saunter™ reference design is complete and ready to use, and is

supported by a versatile development board. Interfaces and connections to simplify evaluation and prototyping.

The echo and noise cancellation function is already tuned for automobile use but may be modified by developers using the Parameter Manager tool, without affecting Bluetooth qualification.

Elinistech will also provide users with the binary source code for the design, for custom applications.



Car Sound Saunter™ Conclusion

Bluetooth Profile support As standard, Car Sound Saunter™ supports a wide variety of application software Profiles, including

A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, PBAP, DUN and SPP. This allows it to provide Bluetooth wireless connectivity in a very wide variety of in-vehicle applications.

Car Sound Saunter™ implementations will typically support at least three Profiles simultaneously. In phone applications for example, Car Sound Saunter™ may be configured to access a variety of functions including last number redial, mute, voice dialing, phone book and call history download (SIM/Memory). Car Sound Saunter™ allows the simultaneous pairing of up to eight Bluetooth devices, and can control functions through voice prompts.
