Welcoming parents to the new academic session, Ms Renu Kumar – Principal, SKS World School one of the best CBSE schools in Greater Noida spoke at length about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers. The aim was to familiarize the parents as 'partners in progress' with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.

ORIENTATION‘'A parent is a teacher at home, a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe''

DAYThe respective teachers gave detailed information about the learning parameters and stressed upon the innovative teaching and learning methodologies followed in school. By the end of the Program, the Parents understood and experienced what happens in the classes and how the child experiences learning. It was indeed a thought provoking and fruitful session.

VAN MAHOTSAVVan Mahotsav is an annual tree planting drive in India, which began in the year 1950. Millions of saplings are planted all across India in observation of the Van Mahotsav week. It is celebrated across the country every year to create an awareness of the constant falling of trees, which has become a serious threat for our country or for global warming.

Red colour symbolizes Confidence and Courage; with this objective the students from Pre-Nursery to Prep celebrated Red Colour Day on 26th April 2019. The tiny tots looked sparkling in their Red Colour outfits. Pre-Nursery & Nursery students

made a beautiful collage of fruits & vegetables with the help of their teachers and discussed it in circle time.

FELICITATION CEREMONY OF SLOGAN WRITEUP COMPETITIONSKS World School conducted the

felicitation ceremony on behalf of Earth Day for students on 26th April 2019 (Friday). It showed their excellence in Slogan making and painting/poster making competition. Honorable Principal Ma’am felicitated the students with certificates and encouraged for more participation.

On 1st May, 2019 students of SKS World School celebrated ‘Labor Day’ to mark the importance of suppor�ng staff.

Various ac�vi�es like song, dance, skit and speech were performed during assembly by the students and teachers.

They honoured all suppor�ng staff by pu�ng thank you badges and offering goodie bags. It was an unforge�able moment for the en�re suppor�ng staff.

SKS World School Celebrated Earth Day to promote the awareness with solu�on to embrace a healthy and sustainable future on earth.Students performed enthusias�cally in various ac�vi�es like speech, skit and role play during special ‘Earth Day Celebra�on’ morning Assembly. Earth Day - slogan poster making and tree planta�on drive were also held in school premises.School Principal also encouraged the students to imbibe some good habits to protect our planet and drove them to do their part to take care of our “Mother Earth”.

organized by Yadu Public School Noida. Our students Raghav Talvar (Captain), Anas Ibani Imtiyaz, Arnav Singh, Abinav Singh,

Shaurya Pratap Singh, Harshit, Harsh Gupta, Naman Kumar, and Anant Raj participated with full enthusiasm and energy. They

performed well and won Medals.

Sports play a major role in shaping the personality of a child. SKS World School organized inter school Kho Kho Competition on 13th May. All four houses (Shivalik, Satpura, Nilgiri & Aravali) had their teams ready for the event. Satpura House Boys and Shivalik House Girls emerged as the winner of the match and declared as the champion of the trophy. The winner team and the participant teams were cheered by the staff and students as well.

A Summer Camp is a supervised program for children conducted during the summer holidays to keep them engaged during the summer vacation. SKS World School organized a summer camp program from 21st May to 30th May 2019.

Various activities were organized for the children under the strict supervision of teachers. The activities were: Cooking without Fire, Pottery Making, Best out of Waste, Dance, Yoga, Swimming, Origami, Painting and Music. All the children with much fun and enthusiasm expressed their skills in these activities. They were able to discover their hidden talent in various fields, as they directly got the opportunity to try their hands at it.

various delicious and mouth-watering recepies like: Nariyal Laddo, Aloo Chaat, Bhel Puri, Bread Chaat, Fruit

Salad etc.

1st Distr ict Level Taekwondo Competition was held on 4th May 2019, (Saturday) at St. Teresa School, Indirapuram. Students participated in a sportive spirit with a great zeal. Our students participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Avni Tomar won Gold Medal, Dhanvi won Silver Medal. Aarav Chaudhary, Shagun Indoria, Sourabh Shaun, Vansh, Aastha Bhardwaj and Rishit Pandey won Bronze Medals.

It is truly said, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mother.” Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring the mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bond and influence of mothers in society. Mother’s day is a special day, for all children and mothers. Mothers are the emot ional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful.SKS World School, Greater Noida (west) celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’ with fervour and enthusiasm in the school’s precinct to salute all the mothers, their importance in a child’s life and the nation as well. The students expressed their love and affection through various activities like : A beautiful dance by students in casual dresses, participation in ‘Poem Recitation’ and ‘Card Making’.The dance performance exalted the mother as God, teacher, friend, phi losopher and guide and emphasised the truth that a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. ‘Letters of Love’ written on cards by the junior students were presented to their mothers and they hugged them as a gesture of gratitude. Principal Ms Renu Kumar shed light on the pivotal role of a mother, who gives immeasurable care and happiness to the child. She saluted all the mothers to make the life of their children very special.
