What is Qure

The Quickstep Qure™ process is an out-of-autoclave process that uses flexible fluid filled membranes

to apply heat and consolidation pressure to composites during the curing process. The end result is a

high quality composite structure that can be made on low-cost flexible equipment.

The equipment has two components. The process heating/cooling plant provides precisely controlled

pressurised and temperature-controlled fluid and the tool tray houses the part, tooling and flexible

membranes that applies heat and pressure to the laminate. The plant is a fixed piece of equipment

that can supply fluid to a range of trays configured to suit parts of different size or geometry.
