.' THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF BRAMPTON

BY-LAW NUMBER 40-74

A By-law to provide for the erection of Yield Right-of-Way Signs at intersections.

WHEREAS Subsection 2 of Section 90 of The Highway TraffiC(_

Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 202 provides that no yield right-

of-way sign shall be erected without the approval of the

Department and every sign shall comply with the regulations

of the Department;

NOW THEP£FORE the Council of the Corporation of the City

of Brampton ENACTS as follows:

1. The intersections on highways set out in Column 1

of Schedule !fA" hereto are designated as intersections

where yield right-of-way signs shall be erected at

the locations shown in Column 2 of the said Schedule.

2. The penalties provided in Section 152 of The Highway

Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 202, shall apply

to offences against this By-law as governed by section

90 (1) of the said Act.

3. This By-law shall not come into force until approved

by the Council of the Corporation of the Regional

Municipality of Peel and by the Ministry of Transportation

and Communications.

4. By-laws 2097, 2489, 2586, 2681, 2731, 2828, 2838, 2952,

and 2961 of the former Town of Brampton and By-law No.

113-69 of the former Township of Chinguacousy.
