An old carpenter and of his wife , and how a student came and set his cap .

The old carpenter had a fair and young wife called Alisoun . Because he was old , he always worried about if his wife cheating on him . The gallant Nicholas was a roomer of his family . He was very sly , his talent was making love in secret . He always read his book in his room and romp with Alisoun when the carpenter was working outside . One day , Nicholas told the carpenter that he has a very important newfound in astronomy. He told the carpenter that there will be a flood , like

the story of Noah and his wife . “If you want to safe your life , you need to have a tub like Noah’s . When everybody’s asleep , we’ll all go quietly upstairs and creep , into ourtubs , awaiting Heaven’s grace. “Then the silly carpenter believed the lie . Every time Nicholas romped with Alisoun during the carpenter prepared the tub . One night , when they were romping, Absalon sang a love-song to Alisoun out the window and wanted to kiss Alisoun . And Alisoun gave her naked arse to Absalon . Absalon was angry and wanted to revenge them .

Next day, Absalon Prepared a hot iron and still wanted Alisoun a kiss . At that time , Nicholashad risen for a piss and heard Absalon . So he went up to the window , waiting for Absalon kissing her . He farted , so Absalon put the hot iron to the place where the sound came from . And Nicholas is very sore and screamed :"Help! Water! Water! For Heaven's Love! " And the carpenter thought the

floor was coming so he sat in the tub , the tub went down and he was fainted . Then Aloson and Nicholay shouted "Help" and said that the carpenter was mad . And everybody thought the carpenter was mad . At the end , Nicholas had Alison , but his butt is sore !

He is not a good person, he sings love songs to Alisoun but he knows that Alisoun has husband. He only cares about himself. He used a hot iron to burn Alisoun's butt just because he kissed her butt. He is an eye for an eye person .

He is a play man, attract the woman who has husband and fall in love with her. He also is a bad man, He and Alisoun tell a lie to carpenter make he get injure and tell the town that he was mad. He is a selfish and greed man he make carpenter’s life hopeless for his happiness that can stay with Alisoun, and carpenter is a rich man, if he is mad he can controll his business, so he can have lots of money.

She is a bad and carnal woman. She cheat with other man, doesn't treature his husband's love, she tell a lie to the town that his husband is mad and fall in love with Nicholas. She is a avarice woman she likes money, she get married with carpenter because of money.

I think he has a miserable life. He love his wife but his wife betray he and fall in love with his lodger called Hende Nicholas. He is tricked by his wife and Hende, when he spoke he was at once borne down by Nicholas and his wife, they told the town that he was mad, and he was held for mad by all the town. He lost his lover and be laughed by the town. He is a honest man, but he give his wife toomuch love make she feel like live in a cage, she is a young girl she has youthful spirit and energy, and she is not loveCarpenteras much as he does. So a man should marry someone like himself; a man should pick an equal for his mate. Love not means own, it is not selfless, the mostimportant thing is wether he/she is really happy.

Knight’s Tale is a story about two knights have a fair fight for a woman. Miller’s Tale is a story about a man steal other’s wife and they cheat the woman’s husband to make him gets injured and they tell the town that her husband was mad, and he stays with the woman. Both of these two stories are about two men and a woman, butKnight’s Tale shows the chivalry, honesty, bravery, equality, etc. Miller’s Tale shows the bad qualities of people, avarice, selfish, gallant, silly, slutty, sly etc.
