Ansel family migrated from Ireland to California

He was a musician that had a friend who did photography

He liked hiking and camping and would photograph the scenery

Ansel father bought him a kodak brownie box, with that he started capturing all his moments

The process

His Images does not come from the equipment and all the gadgets, it comes from inspiration.  Photography is an art, and your images must come from within.(Ansel said this)

Ansel only used his kodak brownie box to capture his imagination

In his monolith photo he used a red filter to get a really dark sky

He mostly used black and whit, and did landscape photography

Ansel did some portraits but his main thing was landscapes
