At State level queries handled through a dedicated email support.kanyashree@.nic.in and phones by the Help Desk Support team consisting of SPMU and NIC, WB officials.

DPMU & Block level offices handles basic queries from beneficiaries,

Schools, Colleges etc.

Capacity Building Resolution takes place through periodical Video

Conferencing Sessions.

Apart from dedicated email & voice based support system, a dedicated

Skype based conferencing facility is also available.

At the educational institution level queries handled by the respective

Heads of the Institutions.

At least 300 queries throughout the State are addressed on an average on

each working day.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION AND QUERY HANDLING

STATUS OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN WEST BENGAL

The application software uses 128 bit encryption for all network traffics.

The Application has in-built Access Control System coupled with a very strict User

Management Mechanism so that every user has to pass through the stringent

authorization process to gain access to the system.

The Application is hosted in NIC iNOC Data Centre thus has in-built security features

like IDS (Intrusion Detection System), Multiple level Firewalls.

Application software has been audited for ensuring proper security in the Cyber

Space.

OTP based login mechanism for all stakeholders in “Intra Kanyashree Login”

PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY

Sanction Orders are generated online with no chances of errors.

Duplicates checked within the system and indicated with whom duplication arising in

case of same name, same father’s or mother’s names, same address, same date of

birth, same educational institution, same form serial no. and same Bank account. Thus,

preventing misappropriation of government fund.

Digital signatures are being provided to all DMs, ADMs, SDOs, BDOs and Heads of

Institutions for validation of data at their level.

All data are secured and photographs of beneficiaries’ water marked to prevent any

misappropriation.

KANYASHREE 2.0 RECEIVED NATIONAL AWARD FOR e-GOVERNANCE'2014-15: The

Kanyashree Prakalpa portal "Kanyashree Online 2.0" has won the "Silver" Award in

NATIONAL AWARD FOR e-GOVERNANCE'2014-15 under the category "Outstanding

Performance in Citizen-Centric Service".

KANYASHREE 2.0 RECEIVED MANTHAN AWARD'2014 : The Kanyashree Online 2.0

has won the Manthan Award South Asia and Asia Pacific 2014 under the category

"Women and Empowerment“

Felicitated in Girls Summit 2014 in London: The Kanyashree Prakalpa was

felicitated in Girl Summit 2014 in London for Outstanding performance.

Recognition from Hon’ble CM, West Bengal: The Kanyashree Online 2.0 has

received recognition from Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal.
