Why this area? This area is near many houses in which 49.7% of the households are family households.

$100 and $200 a month
Primary Focus
Our focus for The Teen Spot is to create a positive area for these urban teenagers to hang out.
Like the O’Fallon YMCA, our development will be a great asset to the neighborhood with “its splashy suburban-style” offerings.
The Teen Spot is vital to the metropolitan area due to Baden’s population being 49.7% of family households.
Staff
For this development, we will hire staff that contain mostly educated employees such as business manager, 18 year old staff members, trainers, life guards, tutors, and councilors.
I advise them to have patience, be friendly, and outgoing.
Money
We will make money by the people paying a reasonable monthly/ yearly membership and government funds and aid.
Despite the O’ Fallon YMCA with a $44 membership, our will be only $30 for a monthly membership.
Financial Aid will always be an option Also we will collect the money from our cafe that
provides healthy alternatives to unhealthy fast food choices.
We will have a fundraiser every 2 month for the Teen Spot. We will use ideas from the young teens to create these fundraisers.
Impact
The Teen Spot will impact young teen life's because it gives them some where positive to hangout instead of hanging out in the streets where trouble lurks. Baden’s crime rate is 25% higher than St. Louis which is 193% higher than Missouri.
This will impact the parents because they know that there children are some where safe where they are supervised.
Our Basis
Our development is similar to the new YMCA Recreational Center built in St. Louis’s very own O’Fallon park
This rec center’s primary purpose is to promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility
The YMCA is funded by two sources. The first is government grants and aid. The second way is through membership dues and fees.
