Introductions

A network is the system where people are connected or where computers are connected. People from a network can share thoughts or also enter to web pages.

A network

One type of application software is called client-server. Client computers send requests for information or use of resources to other computers called servers which control the data flow and execution of applications across the network. Another type of application software known as equals. In such a network computers send each other messages and requests directly without using an intermediary server. These networks are more restricted in their security capabilities, audit and control, and is commonly used in work areas with few computers and where not specified such a strict control of the use of applications and privileges for accessing and modifying data ; are used, for example, home networks or workgroups within a larger corporate network.

What is the computer network?

The computer network is a type of program that connects people into different web pages or also connects computers to the brain. In this case the control center.

There are 3 levels of networks:

Hardware network. Software network. Applications of

software.

What is the advantage of the computer network?

The computer network gives you the advantage of having access to internet and communicating with other persons. Also it gives you the advantage of sharing programs or also information.

What are the three different types of network?

LAN (local area network) MAN (metropolitan area network) WAN (wide area network)

LAN (local area network)

Lan is the groups of computers that belong to the same group. Data transfer over a local area network can reach up to 10 Mbps. It as an organism which is linked to a small organization called network.

MAN (metropolitan network)

MAN connects multiple geographically nearby LANs to one another over a few dozen kilometers. It lets 2 persons communicate as if they were from the same network area.

WAN (wide area network)

WAN lets Lan connect over large geographical land. The speed available on a WAN varies depending on the cost of the connections and with the distance may be low. ANs operate using routers, which can choose the most appropriate way for data to reach a network node.
