The Etchmiadzin Cathedral was the first cathedral built in Armenia. It is located in the city of Etchmiadzin.cathedral was built by Saint Gregory the Illuminator, who converted Christianity. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչն ալ կաշխարհիկ կեանքէ եւ իր կեանքի վերջին օրերն ապրիլ առանձնութեան մէջ: Երբ կու գայ Դարանաղեաց լեռներ, իր ճգնաւոր կեանքին համար բնակութեան վայր կ'ընտրէ
Սեպուհ լերան այն քարայրը, ուր կը ճգնէր ՄանէՄանէն Ս. Գրիգորին կը պատուիրէ երեք օրէն վերադառնալ: Երեք օրէն հայրապետը կը վերադառնայ եւ սրբուհին վախճանած գտնելով՝ սաղմոսներով կը թաղէ զայն քարայրին մէջ (323 թ.):

Becoming famous for performing miracles in the name of Jesus Christ, Nune was brought to the royal palace where she cured the Queen. Refusing the precious gifts offered to her, Nooneh continued preaching the Gospel. The Georgian King Mihran, felt the might of Nune's God and converted to Christianity. The Gospel was preached also to the nobles.
