OUR RETURN TO GOD FOR BLESSINGS

Today’s observance of All Saints includes those with some of the most beloved devotions we hold dear to our hearts. Do we remember that these saints once walked the earth as we do today? They were real people who gave their lives to Jesus Christ and the Church. They shared their gifts in a variety of ways, but all of their efforts pointed to one source: sharing their gifts with others because they recognized that all good things are from God. ~A Prayer For Our New Bishop~

Almighty God, eternal shepherd and guide,

in your love for us, grant to the Diocese of Youngstown

a shepherd who will lead us to be Christ’s heart of

mercy, voice of hope, and hands of justice.

Help him to fill our minds and hearts with the truth of

the Gospel, the power of the sacraments

and the desire to build up your holy Church.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

    Amen.

This second video is titled “Brotherhood” and speaks to the need for Catholic men to support other Catholic men in their daily walk with our Lord.

The Man Night will be a “Zoom meeting” and last about an

hour. Go to our website CMFDOY.org for the link to the meeting. You can attend via computer or phone; with or without video.

"National Vocation Awareness Week will be celebrated in our country November 1-7, 2020. Please ask Our Lord for more dedicated, holy priests, deacons, and consecrated men and women. May they be inspired by Jesus Christ, supported by our faith community, and respond generously to God's gift of vocation."

    Prayer for Vocations

Father you call each one of us by name and ask us to follow you.

Bless your church by raising up dedicated and generous leaders from our families and friends who will serve your people as Sisters, Priests,

    Brothers, Deacons, and Lay Ministers.

Inspire us as we grow to know you, and open our hearts to hear your call.
