1. RegisteringinConnectedCooking
BeforeusingConnectedCooking,youmustregisterasauseronConnectedCooking.comorusingtheapp(iOS/Android).Youwillbeaskedforvariouspersonalorcompanydetails,whichwillbeencryptedandtreatedasconfidential.Youwillthenreceiveane-mailwiththeactivationlinktocompleteyourregistration.
2. Thefirstregistration
WhenregisteringforConnectedCookingforthefirsttime,thesystemwillstartaninteractivewelcometourtoexplaintheindividualfunctions.Youcanstopthistouratanytimeanddeactivateitforfutureregistrations.
3. Configurationofyourpersonalsystem
ConnectedCookingoffersyoumaximumconvenienceifyoucustomiseittoyourcompany.
3.1 Administration
Therearenumerousfunctionsavailabletoyouastheaccountadministratorunderthe"Administration"menuitem.
3.1.1 Companydata
Inthecompanydetailsarea,youcanedittheinformationonyourcompanyrequestedatregistration.
Thisfunctionisonlyavailableforuserswith"AccountAdministrator"rights.Whendetailsarechanged,all"AccountAdministrators"ofyourcompanywillbeinformedofthechangebye-mail.
Thedetailsofthemaincontactpersonforserviceandsupportmatterscanbeenteredunder"Contactforservicecases".Intheeventofaunitmalfunction,customerserviceortheservicepartnerwillcontactthecontactpersononfile.

Agroupisagroupofunits,akitchenorasubsidiaryofyourcompany.ConnectedCookingwillusuallyautomaticallycreateamaingroupafterregistration.Agroupcanonlybecreatedbythe“Administrator”ofthemaingroup.
Ifyouoperateyourunitorunitsatonelocation,youwillnotusuallyneedanyothergroups.Ifyouoperateyourunitsatdifferentlocationsorindifferentkitchens,youcanreplicateyourcompanystructureexactlybyaddingadditionalgroups.
Foreverynewgroup,youcanfilethefollowinginformation:Nameofnewgroup(e.g.therelevantbranchorkitchen)>Superordinategroup>Additionalinformation:-Addressinformationofthegroup(e.g.theaddressoftherelevantbranches)
-Appointedservicepartnerofthegroup(optional)-Appointedcontactfortheservicepartner(optional)-Inwhichtimezoneisthegroup/location(automaticpresettingofthetimezone).Thetimezoneisurgentlyrequiredforautomatictimesynchronisationoftheunits.
Theadditionalinformationisrequestedwhenregisteringyourcompanyandassignedtothemaingroup.Everynewgroupautomaticallycontainsthisinformationatthebeginning,andthiscanbechangedatanytime.
Thefirstadditionalgroupyoucreateisautomaticallyassignedtothemaingroup.Foreveryadditionalone,youcanfreelysettheaffiliations.
Anexample:ThecompanyBurger&Friesoperates8branchesinGermany.Thesebranchesareatthefollowinglocations:

Auserisapersonwithaccessrights,whocanaccesscertaindatawithinConnectedCooking.Whenacompanyiscreated,thefirstuserisautomaticallycreatedasthe"AccountAdministrator".Thisuserroleisgiventhenecessaryrightstoconfigurethecompanyandinvitenewuserstothesystem.
Additionaluserscanonlybecreatedwheninvitedbyanauthoriseduserinthesystem.Theinvitationwillstatethenewuser'sauthorisationlevelandforwhichgroupthisapplies.
