If God did all the great things this passage and many others record He did, we should obey this commandment for Him.

If Jesus is the way unto heaven, we should obey this commandment for Him.

If the Lord adds to the church all that are saved, we should obey this commandment for the church.

There is none other commandment greater than these”

If we love our neighbor (those whom we teach) we should obey this commandment for those that we teach..

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

If we seek first the kingdom of God, we need to obey this commandment for ourselves.
