Zero Gravity: IntroductionZero Gravity is a 3-day festival of art, music, film and dance organized by Art Freckles Collective. It's aim is to celebrate the diversity of art by introducing the most interesting, new and established artists/performers and their creations/talents. For this particular event we have gathered 28 different artists from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
Previous Event: Nouveau Vadge
Nouveau Vadge was a 2-day exhibition of 20 female artists, which took place in June 2009 in the Back Loft.
The event brought more than 300 guests from different age groups and backgrounds and turned out to be a great success what inspired Art Freckles to organize another exhibition – this time on the bigger scale - Zero Gravity Festival.

Zero Gravity: VenueThe Back Loft is a spacious and light filled open-plan loft located at the back of La Catedral Studios. This inspired space functions as an informal artists' playground, available for art-related projects, e.g. art exhibitions, live art events, salons, theatrical performances, rehearsals and drama workshops, dance, life drawing, photo-shoots, film locations, video projections etc.
Since its establishment in 2005, the Back Loft has played host to a great array of events independently curated by individuals and collectives.
Goals and Plans for the Future
Art Freckles’ goal is to run events such as exhibitions, concerts and festivals showing the diversity of art and its creators. Art Freckles aims to be an open art forum for all age groups, where people can discuss new trends, share ideas, gain experience and promote their works. In order to show that all media have their power the events will include painters, photographers, musicians, sculptors, designers, actors and performers, comedians, dancers and filmmakers. To promote ART we hope to get some support from individuals/ companies who care about the future of the cultural scene of Ireland and wish to be an active element of it.
