Only one year later we introduced the 3D

representation for sofas. The fi rst models of the

new PREMIUM2 collection KAMENA, REMUS

and BELLONA could then be admired in the all-

round view. Incredible!

2016Another logical step to improve the presentation:

the living room view shows the confi gured furniture

in the room. Another wow eff ect for your consultation.

Design proposals for patterns and plain

fabrics on the cushions, added to match

the sofa. Another novelty!

2019iROM in its new look:

much better organised,

much more user-friendly!

2015

2009The very fi rst product confi gurator in the

furniture industry, at that time still exclusively

available on the Extranet on the PC. DEIMOS and

HELIOS also look good in in black and white.

The iROM gets a safe home in the iSAFE, the keyless

holder at the point of sale. Always within reach, but

always securely locked. Four years later, the second

version followed to be able to accommodate the latest

generation of iPads.

2014The fi rst 3D representation for our RELAX

armchairs, simply turn the seat with your fi nger

and look at it from all sides. Impressive!

A few months after the release of the iPad we

developed our native app iROM. The product

confi gurator thus fi nds its way from the PC

directly to the point of sale.

2013In the fi rst menu, you had to “turn the

pages”. The 20cm models were arranged

alphabetically between classic models.

2012

10 YEARS OF PRODUCTCONFIGURATOR

This was the most important milestone in the past years: at the furniture fair 2008 in Brussels

we presented the first 20cm models with DEIMOS and HELIOS. Due to their variety, classic sa-

les aids such as price lists and magnetic planners reached their limits. With the first product

configurator on the Extranet, we quickly provided you with a pioneering digital sales aid for our

value-added upholstery sets. Let‘s remember the milestones of our iROM development.

the meantime iROM has become the indispensable sales

aid and supports you every day anew in the successful sale

of our products.

With the increasing variety of collections, the confi gurator

has also become more extensive over time. This goes

hand in hand with additional confi guration steps and new

control elements which we have gradually integrated.

With the brand new Version 8, we are bringing iROM into

a new guise: tidy, clear and user-friendly - from January

2019 available in your App Store.

The newly designed navigation and information

bar - as the name suggests - fulfi lls 2

functionalities:

- All the information needed about the confi gured

product is visible at a glance at any time.

- By tapping on the respective confi guration step,

you can navigate through the individual steps.

The user interface only contains the func-

tions really needed for each confi guration.

The new look is modern and refreshed with

easy-to-understand icons.

The option names are supplemented by

short text descriptions. Thanks to this, you

always have the right explanations at hand.

WIN A CUBI

More and more consumers attach great

importance to the quality and compatibil-

ity of their furniture. We therefore decided

to have the collections PREMIUM2, VER-

SATO and SIGNATURE tested by the DGM

(Deutschen Gütegemeinschaft Möbel) to

be awarded the "Golden M" quality mark.

With great success, because all three col-

lections have passed the test!

THE "GOLDEN M” ANOTHER ADVANTAGE FOR THE CONSUMERA sofa with the "Golden M" has been put through

its paces by independent institutions. Durability,

stability and manufacturing quality are tested as

well as pollutant emissions and safety. In partic-

ular, the furniture must not exceed the critical

threshold specifi cations for alkanes, esters, ter-

penes, hydrocarbons and ketones. In addition, the

responsible laboratories also test for CFCs, heavy

metals, fl ame retardants and other biocides. Fur-

thermore, durability, light fastness and rubbing

fastness of the products play an important role.

The seal is a reliable guide for consumers when

buying new furniture. With the "Golden M" you

off er your customers a guarantee of safety,

health and quality.

And one more thing: The quality and test specifi -

cations of the "Golden M" are unique in Europe

and highly popular.

“...The sofa was perfect for sleeping. Not too

soft, not too hard; even the cushions pillowed my

head just right. Doing different tabulation jobs,

I‘ve slept on a lot of sofas, and let me tell you,

the comfortable ones are few and far between.

Typically, they‘re cheap deadweight. Even the most

luxurious-looking sofas are a disappointment

when you actually try to sleep on them. I never

understand how people can be lax about choosing

sofas. I always say – a prejudice on my part, I‘m sure

– you can tell a lot about a person‘s character from

his choice of sofa. Sofas constitute a realm inviolate

unto themselves. This, however, is something that

only those who have grown up sitting on good sofas

will appreciate. It‘s like growing up reading good

books or listening to good music. One good sofa

breeds another good sofa; one bad sofa breeds

another bad sofa. That‘s how it goes. There are

people who drive luxury cars, but have only second-

or third-rate sofas in their homes. I put little trust

in such people. An expensive automobile may

well be worth its price, but it‘s only an expensive

automobile. If you have the money, you can buy

it, anyone can buy it. Procuring a good sofa, on

the other hand, requires style and experience and

philosophy. It takes money, yes, but you also need a

vision of the superior sofa. That sofa among sofas.
