YOUR DISNEY DREAM VACATION POWERPOINT PROJECT

Visit the Disney Parks web site. Research and design your dream vacation. Select one of the main Disney destinations (Parks and

Destinations tab) and plan the details of your trip.

Primary Dates of Travel – Spring Break 2013 – Friday March 29 through Saturday April 6, 2013

Create a series of PowerPoint slides to showcase your dream trip.

SLIDE #1 - Include a title slide with a creative title, your name, standards company information, company logo and

additional graphics to enhance.

SLIDE #2 – Mini autobiography.

o “Tell me a little about yourself…” Introduce yourself to your future customers.

SLIDES #3 - #18 - Minimum 15 information slides (see outline below), title and content format.

DETAILS: Do not use photo backgrounds. Slides should be well-organized and complete. Capitalize titles. Do not copy

and paste large amounts of text. Read, select and edit. Add pictures to enhance.

Required Information:

Destination - Which Disney location? Where is it?

Transportation – Air and ground. www.travelocity.com for air rates. Record airline, flight dates, times, layovers.

Accommodations - Where would you stay? Information about the facility. What amenities are available?

Attractions/Entertainment- What attractions/parks would you visit? What type of admission fees are required?

Specialty Dining Options– Options for special occasion dining (examples: character dinners, dinner shows, theme dining,

etc.)

Itinerary – create a calendar to show your activities/plans for each day of your trip.

Budget – record pricing for all aspects of your trip.

Resources – record all web sites used to procure information.

Details, pictures, graphics, details to enhance.

Finishing Touches:

Add animations and transitions. Set timing/looping. Add background music/sounds.

DUE END OF CLASS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 16. Will count as a double grade.

This PowerPoint presentation will be shown in the library at the

Open House Event on December 13, 2012.
