This is a simple but very elegant technique which incorporates

scoring features from both the card folding and box-making parts of the board. In this project, we show you how to make the bonbon box in two

sizes, but it is very easy to adapt the technique and make these in various different sizes, depending

on your project.

Stage 1To begin with, trim the two pieces of cardstock, one to the size of 10.5x10.5 inches and the other to 7.5x7.5 inches.

Stage 2Place the larger piece against the box lid part of the Ultimate and score line 7 on all four sides. Place the smaller piece on the board and score line 5 all around.(Tip; You can make these boxes in different sizes by simply choosing a different score line & times this length by three to get the correct size to cut the card).

Stage 3For both pieces, score from the corner point to the score lines on each corner. Fold the four sides of the box up, turn the card over and score the diagonal scores in the opposite direction.

Stage 4With a hole- punch, make a hole about one centimetre from the edge of each corner, with the hole centred over the diagonal score line. Cut 10 flowers with a punch, or use any selection of paper flowers you may have in your craft box. Also cut two tags, one larger than the other. Stick one flower on each of the tags.

Stage 5Feed the ribbons through the holes, weaving them back and forth. Carefully draw the ribbons together to pull the four corners toward the centre of the box. Feed the tag onto the ribbon and finish with a bow. With PVA glue, stick one flower on each side of the boxes, with a circle in the middle for a flower centre as a finishing touch.
