Modern lifestyles mean that many parents have little time for their children. Many childrensuffer because they do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past.

Do you agree or disagree?

It is plausible to suppose nowadays children do not see their parents as much as they used to do inthe past. However, it does not necessarily mean that they suffer from scarcity of attention, in light ofsubstantial increase in child-rearing knowledge, which parents have learnt in contemporary lifestyle.

There is a host of complaint that many parents have received far more attention in their familieswhen they were children, while they do are not able to spend enough time with their children. TheMajority of them blame the employment of mothers as a culprit for this problem, which may refersto financial difficulties that current families confrontare confronted with.

Although, a lot of experts are expressing their growing concern over insufficient time that parentsdedicate to their children, they paint a rosy picture for boosting the quality of that same fractionaltime. To put it into perspective, while an a rough estimate all of all of mothers in the last decadeshave been spending all the day with their children, the mortality rate among infants has been ratherlarger compared to that in contemporary years, in favour of improvement in parent’s knowledgeabout hygiene. Moreover, when it comes to children’s psychological growth, patently today’sparents are considerably more successful than their past counterparts. The dramatic increase inusing related published books and carried out studies is an evidence to confirm the improvement intreatment knowledge among parents. They are also now harnessing this science, in on the one hand,to avoid the adverse effects of too much attention (spoiling children, for instance) and on the otherhand, to reinforce the quality of the little amount of devoted time.

To wrap it up briefly, although I admit that the number of hours that children are spending spendwith their families is plummeted over the last years, I believe it is improved in terms of quality. Ipersonally think since the number of siblings is about to decline even to zero these days, as a resultthe attention which is devoted by parents, is set to be shared in greater divisions in any aspects. Ineffect, this can contribute to compensate the little time expenditure as well as mitigate itsassociated knock-on effects.
