I am going to look at BBC radio 4 world at one . From this I will look at how the radio program is structured and why . the world at one is a BBC radio 4 news program that airs a 1pm every day that last for 45 minutes . The news reports start off with news bullions at 0.18 this will show the people that are listening what type of story’s that are going to be on the show at this day . During the bulletins it contains audio clip of Ed Millaban but this is only a shortened version of the whole clip this is going to be a topic that is going to be the show on that day .Audio clips is also done at 1.13 to show another story about what industry’s the UK is famous for.

She then cross over to another news reported that will be talking about the stories in more detail she is a voicers because it is only her who is reading the news this is done at 1.22. The first thing she dose when it switches to the new presenter is read out the first headline this is done at 1.28 “siner conservative have attacked laber members” this is done to grab the attention of the public and make them want to listen to the show or at least the story. The part that show is speaking is a copy only this is because this would have been pre written script that is moderated for live news .This is also not interrupted with any cross on audio clips allowing them finish the story on their own probably uses quotes . Then this story

switches to a voicers at 2.00 this is a probably a pre-recorded part of somebody out in the field ,this person will talk about the topic in full detail .

At 2.52 another headline is used this time to introduce a story about a body being found this was only a short story that was only about two sentences long. At 8.23 there is an audio clip of Ed Millaban talking about his policy’s this audio clip is the full version of what was shown at the begging o the show at 0.18 now going into full detail about it. At 14.20 she cuts to a news reporter on the field to ask him about his opion on the topic about ministry officials this Is a two way discussion because there is one presenter in the radio studio talking to a presenter on the field .With this the radio show has made sure that there is somebody there to argue with each point so the show is not one sided so the show is not bios like the BBC is meant to be .At 35.00 there was an audio clip about what makes the UK world class this is an extended version of what was shown at the beginning 1.13.

At 43.44 the show has its warps which means that she starts to end the show . she ends in by recapping with the closing headlines they do this to show the reader what has been on the show I think that this is a good way to end the show . I could not find a live cross in this news report so I found a channel 4 news report which one of them are used .It is a discussion about AI intelligence in this they use a live cross to talk to somebody who is far away so they can get involved in the discussion
