She married David Arnold Jack on March 31, 1956. They took up residence in Invermay in 1960 where they raised their eight children and started family businesses. Her family was her pride and joy. Ida prided herself in taking care of people, (including Arnold’s mother Florence and step-mother Pearl) and raising her children, which lead to the grandchildren frequently staying for fun, games and building puzzles. Ida loved gardening - especially her fruit trees, strawberries and flowers; she also enjoyed sewing, knitting, bird watching, visiting with family and friends and vacations to B.C. and Thunder Bay. Her faith in Christ carried her throughout her entire life. You could always find her reading her Bible, listening to gospel music or watching her religious shows. After Arnold’s passing in 2003, she volunteered at the Invermay nursing home up until she moved to Yorkton in 2009 where she lived with Joy and Kerry. This is when she started going to the Lion’s Day Wellness program where she made many more friends. We are both ok, some sad days for me, that I knew you were here to help me. Sheba is now with you as well your mama cat. Sheba was a very hard day for me as no one around but you as I sat on the front step thinking of all our time together. Your mama kitty passed away in my arms. With her last breath and tears coming down my cheeks, she licked my arm and gave a little meow as if to say she will be ok and thanked me for taking care of her. I know you will be there for both of them. The spring plans are ready to go. I got the flower bed done that we wanted for morning glories, they were awesome, but then I forgot you can see them ever day. This spring I got some colors that will be different. Other plans hope to get done. As you have seen we have a new friend living here. His name is Ace. I know you were there that day to make Don and Shelly to stop in the field for some unknown reason, they saved his life. He is growing up to be a great dog. Sable has taken a shine to him, as I know she misses Sheba. The squirrels are fine, Merla is now eating cookies from my mouth. That is the squirrel we raised from small, she is a mama each year now, and lots of fun. Thanks for all the little signs you pass to me, as I know it is you because you are the only one that knew such things. The chickadee had her young ones last spring in that big hanging basket we put up. Hopefully she comes back, it was so much fun to watch her all summer. The grapes in the back yard we planted are doing great, hopefully this year will be great again. I bet your garden in heaven is taking shape. There are lots of corners there to take care of. Some of the birds houses you built need a fix up job, getting them ready as I hope to see the birds soon. The robins are here, and hope they make a nest in the special houses you built for them. You will have a great birthday party there. This year Brent and I will have a special lunch on the patio in the back, planning the spring planting, as you and I would have done. The star at night still shines brightly with a few more around it. I know you sit around that big tree with Taiga, Sheba, Sylvester, Slippers, Zero, Ziggy, Mama kitty and Max. I know you take the very best care of them. Take care my friend, happy birthday. In Loving Memory ofCorey Edward

McLashenAug. 24, 1985 - March 26, 2011As I sit in HeavenAnd watch over you everyday,I try to let you know with signsI never went away.I hear you when you’re laughing,And watch you when you sleep.I even place my arms around you,To calm you as you weep.I see you wish the days away,Begging to have me home.So I try to send you signs,So you know you’re not alone.Don’t feel guilty that you haveLife that was denied to me.Heaven is truly beautiful,Just you wait and see.So live your life, be freeAnd know with every breath you takeYou’ll be taking one for me.

Loving and missing you alwaysand forever.

PLAN NUMBER 5-3-684HANDSOME NON

BASEMENT HOMEThis attractive home

features two bedrooms plus a den that could be used as a third bedroom, as well as a bonus room over the garage that would make an ideal stu-dio, play area or enter-tainment centre.

The front door is shel-tered and opens into a foyer with a coat closet to the left. The den, to the right, overlooks the covered porch. Directly ahead are the open-plan kitchen, dining area and spacious great room.

The great room opens on to a covered patio that looks out to the back gar-den. A coffered ceiling adds elegance, and the gas fireplace will be a magnet for family activi-ties in cooler weather.

The dining area is separated from the kitch-en and great room by a three-seat eating bar and work island with a dou-ble sink. A doorway leads to the covered patio, and both dining area and kitchen will enjoy plenty of natural light through a large window.

The kitchen is designed for efficiency,

with a corner pantry and generous counter space flanking the stove.

The master bedroom, at the back of the home for privacy, includes an ensuite with a soaker tub for a touch of lux-ury. Double basins and a glassed-in shower stall complete the layout. The walk-in closet will pro-vide plenty of room for clothing and accessories.

The second bedroom looks out to the side gar-den and shares a three-piece bathroom located across the corridor, next to the linen closet.

The laundry room,

with its own sink, is sep-arated from the second bedroom by a stairway to the bonus room over the triple garage. This room can double as a mud room, with a bench and cubbies, as well as access to the garage.

The stairway to the bonus room can re relo-cated, to make the sec-ond bedroom larger.

Exterior finishes include horizontal wood siding, painted trim and shingles in the gables, as well as brick accents.

This home measures 54 feet wide and 64 feet, six inches deep for a total of 2,063 square feet. Ceilings on the main floor are nine feet.

Plans for design 5-3-684 are available for $795 (set of 5), $900(set of 8) and $984 for a super set of 10. B.C. residents add 7% Prov. Sales Tax. Also add $35.00 for Priority courier charges within B.C. or $65.00 outside of B.C. Please add 5% G.S.T. or 13% H.S.T. (where applicable) to both the plan price and postage charges.

The stars of High Impact Wrestling returned to Melville for the first time in 2015, presenting ‘Devilution’ at the Community Works building Saturday. The night included a five-match card, including Shaun Moore makes a power move on Merle Graves. Below, Robbie Gamble, now cited as hailing from Atlantic City, versus the man from parts unknown, Mentallo in the night’s main event, where the action ended

up outside the ring on a couple of occasions. Gamble would come away with the victory, controversial as it was. The night was part of a tour leading up to HIW’s Spring MELTDOWN event returning for its fifth year, April 24, in Regina, a night which will include HIW CEO King Kash in a cage match with Cannonball Kelly. HIW is sched-uled to be back in Meville June 12, Aug. 8, and Dec. 4, this year.

Too much for a ring to contain

Spring is in the air. With melting snow and ice, the conditions of our well travelled roads and highways will be much more evident. The return of spring also means it’s time for CAA Saskatchewan’s Worst Roads Campaign. Motorists are invited to identify and vote for the worst roads they have trav-elled on in our province. And just what exactly defines a worst road? Typically these are roads that have potholes, cracks, are in general disrepair, have no or poor signage, roads with little or no shoulder space or roads that are too narrow for motorists and cyclists to share safely.

The 2015 CAA Saskatchewan Worst Roads campaign starts March 25th and ends April 17. Motorists can nominate and vote for their worst roads at www.caask.ca/worstroads. A new feature of this year’s campaign is that motorists can specify the section of the road they wish to nominate. The top 10 roads will be announced on April 20th and the list will be shared with the appropriate government group.

The CAA Worst Roads campaign will be monitored with updates on which roads in our province are get-ting the top votes. The information will be made available via news releases,

social media including Facebook andTwitter, as well as on www.caask.ca. CAA Saskatchewan acknowledges theimprovements made to Saskatchewan roadways for the safety of all motor-ists and travellers. But there is always more work to be done. That’s whereSaskatchewan motorists can help by identifying the roads in need of repair; the roads they rely on every day for business and recreation travel.

A record breaking total of 4,651 voteswere received from motorists in theCAA Saskatchewan 2014 Worst RoadsCampaign scheduled from April 1 to April 25, 2014. The #1 Worst Road wasSaskatchewan 24 near Leoville. In2013, the CAA Worst Roads Campaignattracted 2800 votes and 2900 votes were tabulated in 2012. A complete list ofthe top 10 worst roads for 2014, 2013, and 2012 is available at http://caask.ca/about-caa/caa-social-responsibility/worst-roads.

Working towards better roads andadvocating for driver safety is a priorityfor CAA Saskatchewan. The CAA WorstRoads Campaign helps put a spotlight on troublesome and even dangerousroad conditions in the province and is one tool to help address those roads in most need of attention.
