Summary

We would like to show off something unusual – a custom-made moddedOriginal Prusa i3 MK3S. This one was made for “Tested”, specifically forAdam Savage, as a gift, because we now that Adam is a big fan of thesteampunk. Steampunk is a science-fiction genre, where everything isinfluenced by 19th century steam-powered machines. It’s a kind of “whatif” scenario that focuses on futuristic inventions (as imagined by 19thcentury society) powered by steam.

The printer was based on a standard Original Prusa i3 MK3S kit and noparts of it were modified to ensure smooth operation and compatibilitywith future upgrades. Therefore, it is a visual overhaul that does not affectthe MK3S’ high printing quality.
