ELEMENTARY CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
CRYSTALLOGRAPHY : Science of study of crystal study.
CRYSTAL : A homogenous solid formed by repeating 3dimensional pattern of atoms, ions or molecules & having smooth external surface

ELEMENTARY CRYSTALLOGRAPHY
LATTICE- is a representation of crystal structure as an array of points in space.
UNIT CELL- is defined as the fundamental pattern of minimum number of atoms or molecules which represent the full character of the crystal.
LATTICE PLANES- parallel equidistant planes passing through the lattice points
PREMITIVE CELL : Atoms at the corners but not in the middle of phases , not in the centre of cell..
NON PREMITIVE CELL : 3 Types, Body centred (I) Face centred (F) End centred (C)
