BIKE 4

AIDS

• Bicycles and bike-ambulances are of great assistance to those living with HIV and AIDS in rural Malawi.

• Through Bike 4 AIDS, Local Committees fundraise to purchase bikes while raising awareness on HIV and AIDS issues.

• Bikes purchased with Bike 4 AIDS funds are distributed to Community Based Organizations that work with HIV and AIDS sufferers.

• HIV and AIDS caregivers travel to neighboring villages to care for those affected. With a bicycle, they reach 5 times as many patients.

Equality between Women and Men

On Campus OverseasThrough Uniterra, WUSC contributes towards equality between women and men in countries worldwide and we can share your messages with partners:

Bolivia: • Our partners seek to eliminate

barriers to participation for women in community clinics in Bolivia and girls education in Ghana.

• Women and girls have asked the world for recognition and respect of their rights. They do their part; help them ensure equality for all.

• Stand Up and Make Noise for women’s equality on September 17-19th

• Throw a “Her Challenge, Your Challenge” creative expression event

• Capture the messages from these women’s rights events
