The oil found in today’s motor vehicles differsdramatically to the lubricants used 10 years ago.Synthetic and semi synthetic oil now seems to beused in the majority of new vehicles.This type of oil keeps its viscosity for longer andprevents “black sludge” building up, however, oneapparent weakness of this new generation oil is it isnot as soluble as the old mineral oil so it does notabsorb the by-products of combustion (dirt andparticles) as well.If these particles are left to build up they could start toclog oil ways thus starving the engine of vital oil thatcan lead to premature wear and component failure.So there is still very much a need for Würth EngineFlush and Cleaner.• An agent to thin old oil, breaking down sludge and

particle build up to ensure maximum drainage. • A detergent to clean away residues and unclog oil

ways, galleries and neutralise crankcase acids. • A lubricant, (organic molybolan compound) to

protect the engine while the solvents and detergentsare cleaning.

Uses/Areas of Use:• If black sludge is suspected.• If hydraulic tappets chatter.• If the oil change is overdue.• In the event of a loss of compression from sticking

Application:Before changing the oil, ensure the oil level is withinthe normal operating range and the engine is warm.Add contents and run engine for 10 minutes, thenimmediately change oil and filter.

Specifically designed for the latest common rail andhigh pressure diesel injection systems.• Contains a sulphur substitute, which acts as an

antioxidant and helps prevent the formation ofdeposits.

• Reduces the amount of smoke and soot in theexhaust gas.

• Increases the lubricating properties and anti wearcharacteristics of the diesel fuel (exceeds HFRR testDIN ISO 12156).

• Contains a cetane stabiliser.

Uses/Areas of Use:• If a part in the common rail injection system has

been repaired or changed, the quality of the fuel isextremely important due to the high pressure thatthe common rail runs at - up to 20,000 PSI. The newparts need a smooth “running-in” period with ahigh lubricating fuel. Without the use of an additivesuch as this, extreme premature wear can occur.

Note:On common rail and high pressure diesel vehicles itis advisable not to “drag” contaminated fuel throughthe system because of the points made above. Thebest course of action is to drain the tank and refill withnew clean fuel whilst using a Würth common raildiesel additive to reduce the chances of damage tothe system.

Dosage:For best results use when there is at least 20-30 litresof diesel present, 1 can will treat up to 80 litres of fuel.

All air conditioning systems produce condensation asa by product of their cooling action. If not used on aregular basis the condensation will stagnate and thiswill result in a build up of mould, mildew and fungithat, in turn will lead to unpleasant odours beingsmelt in the cockpit.Not only are these odours unpleasant but thebacteria present can lead to serious illness if thedriver has prolonged exposure to them.• Penetrates fully where contamination is found.

The EVAPOmat® atomises cleaning and odoureliminating active substances with the aid of threeultrasonic cells.

Allow 30 minutes for the product to take effect, afterwhich add rest of product.

Application:Add contents of can to coolant. Open heater valves.Run engine for about 30 minutes. Deposits whichhave been dislodged by the radiator cleaner mustbe flushed away without fail.

Flushing can be carried out without removing thethermostat. Replace coolant after use, bleed andcheck for leaks. It is recommended to replace partsthat have been affected by intruding oil, such as theexpansion tank and water hoses.

Dosage:250ml is sufficient for 10 litres of coolant.

Uses/Areas of Use:• In event of microscopic leaks in the cylinder head

Application:With the engine warm, introduce directly to thecooling system. Only put into expansion tank ifcoolant flows through it. Then allow the engine torun for at least 10 minutes until the thermostatopens and you notice the heater starting to give offheat. Then turn off the engine, check the coolantlevel and top up if necessary.

Dosage:Sufficient for 10 litres of coolant.

CAUTION: Conventional radiator sealants should notbe used on modern cross flow coolingsystems since the strainers will get clogged;this can result in radiator failure and thusdamage to the engine.

Application:Shake can well before use. Add contents of can towarm coolant. Open heating valves and run enginefor at least 10 minutes. Check coolant level andinspect for leaks.

Dosage:Sufficient for 10 litres of coolant. Maximum mixtureratio for lorries is 1 to 100.

CAUTION: If there are any dirt strainers in the coolingsystem, Radiator Seal must not be used. Please use Radiator Seal HP 0893 555
