The Language of Light - Opening Up Your Vision through Digital PhotographyThis workshop is less about camera mechanics and more about finding depth and meaning in your photography by reexamining the creative process. This is a hands-on casual class that will explore the different styles and methods of creating photographs through dem-onstrations, examples, shooting exercises and assignments. Participants will learn to use light, exposure and compositional techniques as ways of connecting with their subject and creating a strong visual statement. Since fine light is the main ingredient of photography, field experiences to shoot in low or angled light and to search for patterns, motion, abstrac-tions, reflections, will be offered. An important goal of this class is to develop a strong personal style, deepen your vision and find new paths and creative outlets not only for your photographs but whatever your medium of choice.
