THE SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE...BUT THERE’S STILL PLENTY TO DO BEFOREHAND! Hello everyone, hope you’re well and looking forward to the end of term, which scarily, is only a handful of weeks away. What a year it’s been, what a term 3 we’ve already had; and with the following events going on - term 3 is only going to get better and better!

ENTERTAINMENTS COMING YOUR WAY!

70s, 80s and 90s DISCO (24th May): Experience the sounds, styles and shapes of the coolest decades in music history! Whether you’re a cosmic dancer suffering from dance fever, or a wannabe... this is the place to be! SUMMER BALL 2010 (Friday 28TH MAY, MAIN CAMPUS): It’s almost here: the event to help you celebrate the end of the year in the world of Alice and Wonderland. The Ball features TINIE TEMPAH, Maybe Gaga, Indie Patrol and Winchester’s Got Talent WINNER – HABIB BIVA – LIVE! DO NOT MISS OUT: Tickets £25 from the Box Office 11am-3pm weekdays. But there’s more still... EUROVISION is live (29th May) in The Vault as well... Hear the music, see the acts, and enjoy the greatest night in music history; well maybe not, but it will still be a brilliant night to share with friends! COMEDY CENTRAL (1st June): not just a normal comedy night; alongside the headline acts is one of our very own... fresh from her superb performances at Winchester’s Got Talent... (in my best X factor voice) Gemma Warford will be live on the mic! Get down early to avoid disappointment – definitely worth a giggle!

OTHER IMPORTANT HIGHLIGHTS COMING UP UNION GENERAL MEETING (2pm, 2nd June in The Vault): Open to all our students - it’s YOUR opportunity to hear what your Union has done this year, with updates from the President and the rest of the Executive Team. Ask the questions you want answered? COLOURS: (3rd June) The Annual Sports Awards Night is here. Find out whose won Sportsman & Sportswoman of year, Team of the Year, and many more - live at the Guildhall! Tickets only available until 3pm TUESDAY 25th May .

Getting involved in the Student Union is a must with just a few weeks remaining this year: whatever takes your fancy, there’s still time to: stand-out, have pride, and have passion and determination in everything you do!
